You got trapped in the maze at night. Alone.

"Thomas you have to forgive yourself. It's not your fault." Newt tried to tell Thomas for the hundredth time.
"You don't understand! It is. I was on a run with her and I didn't even look back when I was running through the closing doors!" Thomas shouts. He wasn't controlling his temper anymore. He couldn't bare the thought that he did this. Because of him, you were killed, no one had ever survived a night in the maze.
"Thomas you have to forgive yourself! She would want that too and you know it." Newt points at him.
They both hear a loud thud. It's a very familiar sound. The maze doors are opening again.
"I think I see something!" Someone shouts.
Thomas's eyes light up. A smile appears on his face for the first time since last night. He runs past Newt and fastens his pace. Newt stood next to him with his arms crossed but he got hit by the realization so started running too.
The doors only opened a small gap but Thomas ran between the walls to the maze. Someone had seen it right. There was something on the other side.
Your dead body.
