Newt looked at the big wall with all the names of the Gladers. All the death ones were crossed out except one.
It was your name. They wanted to, but Newt wouldn't let them. It was the only thing that reminded him of you.
It was becoming kind of a ritual for him to visit this place at the end of the day while the sun was still shining. Just for a little short time, so nobody notice Newt being away.
