"What the hell? Who is that dude she is holding hands with?!" Thomas was ready to hit that guy.
Newt turned to Thomas after he saw you and the new guy. "You broke up with her. Don't blame them, she just moved on."
Thomas played with his food. "I know, but I did it for her safety."
Newt nodded in understanding. "You broke up, and she moved on. This is gonna sound harsh, but you will just have to deal with it."
Thomas slumped down knowing that Newt was right, he couldn't do anything. You moved on, and he hasn't.
