"I know it's not fair! But Chuck wouldn't want us to hang our heads low," you say.
"Chuck told me to tell you this," you sigh and pause a moment.
"'I was going to make all of you belts made out of watches, but then I realized it would just be a waste of time.'" You bite your lip, waiting for the reactions.
Newt, Minho and Frypan immediately laugh, with the thought of Chuck behind the joke in their minds.
It takes Thomas a little longer. But he can't keep it in anymore.
"Oh god {your name}, I love you from my head tomatoes," Thomas laughs even harder at his own joke.
You sure did brighten the mood and they're all very grateful for that.
