There you were, looking beautiful as ever. Your hair was practically glowing in the sunlight or it was just because Thomas adored you so much everything you did was amplified. Thomas didn't care. "Chuck," he hit his best friends shoulder, "look at them," he sighed. If this was an animation his eyes would've turned into hearts.
"Yeah," Chuck simply nodded, "they're pretty."
"I should tell them I'm in love with them." He took a step towards where you were standing.
Thomas has had a crush on you since you gave him a tour around the Glade. You were kind to him; something a lot of Gladers weren't when he first came out of the box. When Chuck told him you were in a relationship with Minho his heart broke.
He had tried his best to not like you, but how could he not like you. You were the light in the Glade. You were always making sure everyone was happy. Every Glader knew who you were, even if they didn't know your name; they would say the one who's always smiling.
"I told you, you can't," the younger said, he pitied Thomas. He had seen firsthand how much he adored you. "They are in a relationship with Minho. It isn't fair for them. Don't you see how happy both of them are together. Do you really wanna get between that?"
Thomas shook his head, his eyes were teary. "Shuck, of course not. Just... just give me a moment." He ran off leaving Chuck behind.
