I wish you luck, princess."

I wish you nothing." I snapped as I stood beside Magnus.

Well, they have all chosen." Amber said to us. "Welcome elves of the Elemental kingdom! Everyone has chosen who they want as their ruler. The next king or queen will be...."

I hope that you have packed up." Magnus chuckled.

I will pack when I know." I replied.

The previous week...

Please choose me as your next queen!" I cried.

Chose Tera!" Amber said.

I choose for you to be sent to death!" An elf snapped at me.

Please, I promise I will be a good queen to you all." I pleaded.

Why should we ever choose you?!"

Why do you all hate me!? Has Magnus and the forest elves gotten into your head!?"
All the elves around me looked at each other and back at me. "All I want, is to protect a kingdom, and I have never done anything wrong. I just want to help you all, and other elves like myself. When I first came here, Magnus refused to help me, I had to bargain with him, I gave him money, and he let me in with my kingdom, but he did not help, my kingdom has hardly any money because he refused to help, I do not want him to do the same to any other elf or kingdom who seeks shelter and care."
The elves murmured and looked back up at me.

So we should choose you as our queen because you are weak?!"

That is enough! Tera has done nothing but good around here! She wants the best life for all of you, and your children! You have no king or queen, and you listen to what an idiotic Fire Elfor says!" Amber snapped. "If Magnus wins, I guarantee, that those whom are not fire elves, will be treated like slaves. He will treat you very poorly, he does not care about your needs and problems, he only wants to keep the Fire kingdom happy, and he only wants power!"

Does that mean that he is not to be trusted?!" Someone in the crowd asked.

Exactly, no one can trust him, but you can trust Tera, whom only wants the best for all of you." Amber answered.

Yes, I want to take care of you, I want to protect and serve you. If you will, I would really love for you to have me as your queen." I said with a smile on my face.

We will consider this." Another elf in the crowd said.

Thank you all so much, I promise, that if all of you choose me, you will not regret it."

We better not, because all our hope will be balancing on your shoulders! And one mistake can send us all to hell." The elf snapped as the crowd slowly disappeared, leaving only a little Elfess.

Do you really think that Sergeant Magnus is bad?" The little Elfess asked.

He might not be bad, we will never know, unless he does something despicable." I answered.

Can I tell you something?" She asked.

Of course." I answered as I crouched down to her level. "What is it?"

I think you are beautiful." She said.

Thank you, and you know what, when you are older, you can do whatever you want, I will grant your wish."

Really?" The little Elfess asked.

Really." I answered.

I want to be the next Sergeant." She said.

Do you really want to do that?" I asked.
She nodded her head and I smiled. "Well alright then, I will keep that in mind. Now, what is your name?"

Adeen." She answered.

Sergeant Adeen." I announced. "Promise me something?"

Ok."

Come visit me every day, if I become queen." I answered and I suddenly noticed an older Elfess watching us.

The little Elfess' red hair flowed through the wind like waves of blood, it was beautiful, then suddenly her smile faded and her hair covered her eyes. "May rivers flow, through mountain high. May the power of light take flight. With those who stand in the way, ignore, and continue standing for what you were made for. Winter has been defeated for now, but beware the tides from hell. History screaks from the winds, as waves of evil arrive."
The Elfess' eyes were glowing red, and it seemed as though she had not been speaking at all, her voice had not been sweet, and she was, above all things, terrifying.

Adeen!" The strange older Elfess cried as she came running. "Are you alright darling?"

A-are y-you her m-mother?" I asked suddenly as the Elfess came over.

Yes." The Elfess hissed as she approached her daughter.

What happened?" Adeen asked.

Her eyes, th-they were, r-red. She was not her." I cried.

Adeen, do you have a headache?" Adeen's mother asked

Yes." The little Elfess answered.

It happened again."

What happened?" I asked.

Adeen can see things we can not, and those things are futures." The little Elfess' mother answered.

But, that is impossible?" I replied.

It is supposed to be, but, she only sees the most important ones, and her brain turns them into things called prophecy's." She explained.

Prophecy's are a thing, but we never trust the people telling them, just incase it is a trick." Amber said.

This is not a trick." Adeen's mother said.

There is no way that it could have been a trick, unless Adeen's eyes can just turn into one solid colour of red whenever she wants." I said.

Mommy, I am tired." Adeen mumbled with a yawn.

Alright darling." Her mother answered as she picked Adeen up in her arms. "Be careful; with what Adeen tells me, they usually are true, so whatever she told you, make sure that you beware, for her warnings, are never to joke about."

We will not joke about this." I promised and the Elfess' mother smiled.

I am glad to hear that, and, do not worry about the being chosen, you will become queen, I will make sure that every elf in this kingdom chooses you as our queen."

Thank you." I said as the Fire Elfess walked away with her child in her arms...
