Damon had tried his best to leave it alone. To forget about Genesis' past and all the secrets he had uncovered since he had found out about her alter-ego. But yesterday had left him restless. It was the way she fought so effortlessly; how she didn't hesitate to almost break his arm when he tried to stop her from charging towards those guys.

She had shut her emotions off without a second thought, it was frightening how cold she could become merely seconds after they had been dancing together. The train of thought had kept him up all night, and the only way he could end it was to get some answers, once and for all.

He took the advice Dimitri had offered him when he first had his suspicions about Genesis and contacted an associate in Italy that was good at digging up information. He was in his kitchen, cooking dinner for himself as well as his brothers when his phone rang. Damon quickly washed off his hands and rushed to answer it. He had been expecting this call all day.

"Ciao mio cugino." The person on the other end greeted.

"Matteo. Hai quello che ho chiesto?" Damon questioned, hoping he had found what he needed.

"Si, e tu sei in qualche uomo di merda." Matteo replied with a chuckle, but this did not provide Damon with any reassurance that he had nothing to worry about. He had no idea what he had gotten himself into.

"Ne sono consapevole ora, grazie per aver fatto questo per me." He said, grateful for the favour.

"Lo spedirò ora, è stato bello sentire la tua voce." Matteo said, bringing the short conversation to its conclusion.

"Anche tu, fino alla prossima volta." Damon ended. Soon receiving a large digital file that would surely take him hours to look through. Just how much was Genesis hiding, he wondered?

As it turned out, the file had contained a number of aliases that Genesis had used. Each had its own background cultivated perfectly. They consisted of where she grew up, her parents' middle names, what high school she attended, but none of them were real. Out of all the false identities, Michelle Harper – Economics teacher at Winsbury High; Lolita Ferone - part-time mechanic; Alicia Violet - exotic dancer, there were countless more but none of them mentioned a Genesis Casanova. It was as if she didn't even exist.

However, Matteo did manage to find some statistics on Harmonie. A lot, actually. All the aliases traced back to Harmonie, as if she were the real person and not Genesis. There were dozens of CCTV footage of her leaving and entering shady places, dressed in a leather jumpsuit and mask so her identity was concealed, just as Tyler had described. Many of the places where her aliases had been spotted were also places Harmonie had conveniently shown up – those were the more high-class locations where she would have needed to enter unnoticed, therefore the alias was required.

It also seemed that Harmonie was wanted across most of England and amazingly, some other parts of the UK too. There were various police records, files upon files of places she had been and where she might go next. Apparently, one particular detective named Adam Lance had spent four years focusing on no other case except Harmonie's. He had become so obsessed with catching her that he drove his wife away and had to eventually get demoted after misusing police privileges to try and nail her. Damon couldn't imagine how Genesis must have felt to be hunted by someone who would do anything to lock her away – but he didn't want to feel sorry for her at this point. She had withheld too much.

There was more information on Genesis after she had joined the Con Circle. Articles showing Harmonie leaving the scene with another woman or man, sometimes both, and on the occasion a whole group of five of them. Damon figured that the others were her ex-boyfriend Carter, the auburn-haired woman was obviously Audrey, then the darker-skinned man Marcus and the blonde would be Lydia. Unlike Genesis, there was record of their actual identities as well as a handful of aliases. This was more than likely due to Genesis being adopted as a baby so it would be hard to track her actual identity, especially if she didn't want to be found.
