Within seconds, the night had turned from a party to a war zone. There were guests running, screaming and shoving in every direction, trying to escape from the men who had just come crashing through the windows bearing weaponry of all sizes. Genesis' eyes widened, as soon as the first piece of glass had shattered near her, she had sprinted back towards their table to retrieve her gun, only to find that her purse was missing.

She kicked off her heels - this was exactly why she never wore the things - and picked up a knife from the table. There were approximately twenty armed men in the room, though none of them had fired a single bullet at anybody, only at the ceiling in intimidation. It was a good sign. Genesis ran over to Dominic and Dimitri, who were helping people leave the room.

"Each of you cover an exit, Nord e Sud, we don't allow these bastards to escape." She commanded. They nodded at her, taking off to guard each door so the men couldn't leave.

Genesis wondered where the security detail for the venue was, they should have arrived in the room as soon as the disorder started. The room was beginning to clear so Genesis had a distinct view of where each of the men had stood. Reaching into her bra, she was quick to tie her mask onto her face again. She began stalking towards a group of three of them when she felt her arm being gripped.

"Damon, what the hell do you think you're doing? Let go of me." She retorted.

"Genesis, I know you think you can handle yourself and you more than likely can, but those guys have guns and you're holding a butter knife. You have just recovered from that mugging, if it even was that. I can't let you get yourself hurt again. Or worse – killed." Damon said, preventing her from walking any further.

There was no time for this, Genesis needed to prove that she was perfectly capable of taking care of the men. She manoeuvred under his arm that was still holding onto hers and twisted it behind his back so fast that he hadn't even realised what she was doing. Damon let out an incoherent sound of pain. Pressing his arm against his back, she held it there so that it would hurt but not hard enough to break it.

"Never. Ever. Try to stop me from doing what has to be done. Understood?" Genesis ordered through gritted teeth. She regretted hurting him, but her point was made.

Without waiting for an answer, she let go of his arm and continued walking up to the men, one aimed his gun at her but Genesis could sense his hesitance to pull the trigger. A fatal mistake - she had to say. Genesis walked right up to the gun until the barrel was pressed against her forehead, she could feel it shaking as the man held it with a tight grip but was clearly reluctant to use it.

"Hesitation gets you killed." She simply stated before grabbing the gun and twisting it with so much force that his arm twisted with it. The sound of a crack echoed through the room as his shoulder dislocated. She used the butt of the gun to swing across his face and he dropped to the floor, unconscious with a bloodied nose.

Genesis looked up to find the other two moving towards her. Before they could shoot she flipped the gun in her hand and fired a bullet into the kneecap of one guy and the stomach of another. The remaining people in the room had stopped to watch the scene, Genesis turned to find it was only those who had sat at her table - aside from Jazmine and Emily - left in the room.

Another group of men began to inch in on Genesis's position, they surrounded her and she aimed her gun, preparing for the fight. What she did not expect was for someone to come up next to her with their fists balled, not intending on letting her fight alone. Genesis glanced at her, they exchanged a look of understanding before turning back to face the men that were circling them. Standing in a back-to-back formation, they sized up their opponents, it didn't appear that they would be too much of a challenge.
