Chapter 10: Mom's Paranoia
It was finally Coronation day. The last day I would be stuck on the Isle with the Villains of our parents. I'd be back in person with my friends and most likely making a new life thousands of miles away from our parents. The villains hogged up all the couch space as they watched the coronation through the small T.V. I stood behind them.
"At last, here we are, broadcasting live from the coronation where Prince Benjamin will soon be crowned king!" The reporter stated showing the church the coronation would be taking place before showing herself, "I'm Snow White, bringing you up to the second coverage of who's the fairest of them all."
"I'm Snow White," Evil Queen mimicked before throwing more popcorn at the T.V., "Who are you kidding? She's definitely had work done."
"Hey, I made that for you to eat, not for me to clean!" I complained as Mom turned to look at Evil Queen.
"Oh, Fairy Godmother is looking radiant," Snow White stated before showing a shot of the guests, "But what is happening with Jane's hair?" I stifled a laugh to keep suspicion away from me. "And there is Fairy Godmother's wand." It showed a shot of Fairy Godmother uncovering her wand.
"I want that wand!" Mom practically screamed as she stepped up to the T.V.
"Do you?" Cruella said sarcastic, "Hadn't heard." I laughed not bothering to hold it in. Mom sent Cruella and me a chilling glare.
"Oh, and here comes Ben now," Snow White said showing an image of them coming down the road in a carriage. They stopped in front of the church. Princey stepped down as the trumpets blared in the background and helped Mal down. Evil Queen gasped.
"Well, If it isn't..." Evil Queen started.
"My daughter," Mom said surprised, "Looking like some kind of..."
"Princess!" Snow White interjected in the T.V., "Now, let's see who this beauty is wearing. Evie."
"Evie!" Evil Queen exclaimed excited, "That's my dau... Evie!"
"Someone named Evie designed her gown," Snow White stated.
"That's my daughter!" Evil Queen said ecstatic as she jumped out of her seat.
"Oh, wow. She sewed a dress," Mom said unimpressed, "Meanwhile, my girl duped a prince, and she's this close to grabbing the magic wand." I smiled at the prideful tone in her voice. If only Mal were here to hear it.
"Bitter, party of one," Evil Queen retorted, "Bitter, party of one!"
"It's happening, people! It's happening!" Mom exclaimed as she began to run around the living room, "I say, gird your loins! Gird your loins! Villains, our revenge begins today!" The three turned to look at Mom before doing their evil cackle. I walked over to where Cruella left her plate of snacks before taking a seat on the now empty couch finishing to watch the show. Honestly, I would be there in person if it weren't for the fact that mom would get suspicious if I was upstairs napping. I was not making mom upset the day the barrier was coming down and she was getting her magic back. I was many things, but suicidal was not one of them. The cameras were too far away to catch any of the conversations going on and i was too lazy to even try to read their lips. It wasn't long before the actual Coronation began and the villians all rushed to their seats. I frowned as Cruella, Evil Queen and my mother crushed me as they took their seats again. Cruella snatching her plate back.
