You have been driving for what seemed like forever. Your boyfriend of 2 years is sitting in the passenger seat. He was asleep with his ear buds in.
You were only 10 minutes away from your hometown. You decided it was time to wake him up. You grab his phone and turn the volume up all the way. He sprung up.
You just burst out laughing.
"What the fuck Y/n!!!!" He yells.
"Wakey wakey!!! We are almost there."
You see him stiffen up a bit. "What is wrong baby?"
"I'm just a bit nervous."
"Don't be. My mom and her fiancé are pretty cool."
"I'm scared cuz you said that they watch Mikey's vlogs. I'm scared about how Mikey calls me, 'Joe the Pedo'."
"She knows its just a joke. She knows its an act."
"Y/n, that's not the point. If she doesn't like me, what the fuck am I supposed to do??? You are my love and I need them to like me."
"Baby. They will like you. Don't be so worried about it."
You pull into the driveway. You get out and so does Joe. He grabs your hand as you two walk up to the door. You knock and your mom answered the door.
"Hey honey." She hugs you.
"Hey mom. This is.." Your mom cuts you off.
"Joseph. Or as you call him, Joe." She smiles. "Welcome to the family son."
Joe smiles."Thank you Mrs. (Y/l/n)."
"No no. You can either call me mom or (Your moms name)."
She let's you and Joe in. She introduces your dad to Joe. Your dad immediately liked Joe. My parents could tell how happy I was with Joe.
You sit next to Joe and whisper to him. "See, I told you that they would love you."
