"My dad called. ... and im late for this thingy family thingy his girlfriend planned. im sorry maybe next time..." i lie. He huffs then says " i understand Family shit" He sadly smiles.
"yep family shit... im sorry." i say getting up and huging him. He hugs me back and whispers "next time".... i didnt hear that because honestly there will not be a next time.
"ill drop you off at home" he offers.
The car ride back to my house was quite. Thank god i only lived about 15 minutes away so that made it pretty easy. I was nervous that he was going to find the notebooks in my bag. I was still confused on what that noteook was.... The List.... like what could it be in so confused. "Bye" we both say at the same time as i exit the car. When he drives away i run in to my house and dash up stairs. My dad isnt even home there out on a dinner date. I hop onto my bed and pull the notebooks out. mmm what are these... there is a red one that says "the list freshmen year" a blue one that say "the list shopmore year" a purple one that says "the list jr. year... then a green one that says "The list first senior year". umm okay.
i look at the red one. its just a normal notebook but its old you can tell there is papers glues in and it looks like it has been taped and glues and its old. i open it to the first page. its layed out like.
