The tall blonde and handsome man before me scans me from head to toe and I do the same to him. First prince of Clarines, the heir to the throne, Izana Wistaria. I keep repeating in my head as I look at the man.

Other than his blue eyes, I find little resemblance to Zen. He appears much wiser and his eyes carry a bit of mystery, making you wonder what he's thinking about. He strikes me as an intelligent sly type of man.

"I see you've taken another person under your wing, brother." He says while eyeing Zen. I look at Zen also and question his order earlier, keep your hair hidden. I obeyed and stand now with my dark green cloak in the first prince's office. Even though I had thoughts about it being rude.

"Do you mind pulling down your hood?" The first prince asks. I look at Zen for permission and he nods at me. My gaze goes back to prince Izana and I notice a slight shift in his eyes. Did he just approve of my asking Zen's permission? Well, I do think he's the kind of man that likes to test people.

I move the hood and let it slide down onto my back. I register shock out of Izana's expression. Not the usual kind of shock, though. There's some hint of.. recognition.

"Do you perhaps come from Feidelm?" He asks all of a sudden and I can't help but tense up. Oh... has he heard of me before..?

"Feidelm?" Zen asks, confused. "That country is pretty far." He looks at me, eyebrows frowned. Yes, Zen, there's more to me than you might think.

My throat suddenly feels very dry, so I just nod as an answer. I do come from Feidelm after all. It's a small country to the west and it's landscapes are similar to Clarines.

"Any idea how I could have guessed?"

"Rumors?" I ask quite softly.

He smiles slyly. "Yes."

"Wait, what rumors?" Zen asks still confused. He keeps looking back at me and Izana, wanting to know what we mean.

"About a decade ago there was something the townspeople of Tanbarun talked about." His gaze shifts to me and I could feel Zen looking at me too. "Or rather someone."

My eyes unwillingly avert to the desk the prince is leaning on. Dammit, he's too pressuring, it's hard to keep looking at him.

"Pardon me for speaking, but I think I know what you mean." Obi says from behind me. I kind of forgot Obi and Zen's aides were here too. I turn to him and see his eyes seem a bit distant as he tries to remember. "It's pretty hard to recall, but I think it was about 'Blue Anann' or something." His eyes clear up and he looks at Izana. "I heard from some elder women during a mission."

"What did they tell you?"

"They talked about a statue and said she was a young hero, but never mentioned why. "

Izana seems to think a bit before he explains. "Blue Anann is a young girl who managed to not only break out but help other slaves break out to freedom. Many people were very thankful to her, but she suddenly disappeared a few nights after the escape."

Izana then looks at Obi. "They probably didn't tell you much, because they respected Blue Anann's wish to stay hidden. I heard from people that was the reason why she disappeared."

I feel the weight of his gaze on me again and I dare myself to look up. Our eyes meet and for some reason I suddenly sense no hostility or pressure from the man. "Is that right, Blue Anann?" He asks almost kindly.

"Yes." My voice comes out normally and I internally sigh relieved, as I don't want to embarrass myself in front of the first prince.. "My whole life I've been chased because of my hair. I had enough, so I ran away."

"And ended up in Clarines?"

"Yes."

I see Zen shifting somewhat uncomfortably from his one foot to the other. The others in the room also look tense, while I feel completely relaxed. It might be because I strangely feel like I have been accepted by Izana. As for the others, well it's the first time they're hearing more about me. It's natural to feel a bit restless.

"What's your name?"

"(Y/N)."

He then steps foward and bows to me suddenly. Everyone in the rooms gasps and I just look at the man surprised.

"B-brother?" Zen questions.

"(Y/N)-san, on behalf of the people you've saved I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart." He then raises his head again. "There were quite a lot of Clarines' people that you've saved. When I was younger. I saw reunions between them and their family. I swore to myself that I'd thank you properly once I'd get the meet you." he explains.

I take a moment before I realise what just happened. I mean, the friggin future king bowed to me. He's not meant to do that right? Especially a commoner like me??

I notice my heart racing wildly.

"No need to thank me, your highness." My voice trembles a bit, but it comes out quite normal.

He smiles at me and I notice in his eyes, not just acceptance but also respect. Did my actions really reach this far?

"Well then, (Y/N)-san," he says. "Do you want to join me on an afternoon tea?"

I blink at him, but then realise he's being serious.

"Ehm sure. I'd love to."

In Irish mythology, Anu (or Ana, sometimes given as Anann or Anand) is a goddess. She may be a goddess in her own right, or an alternate name for Danu. - Wikipedia

I thought it'd be fun to throw in a mythological name. Plus, I wanted to show how much the people looked up to a little kid to the point of giving her a name of a goddess.

As for 'Feidelm', it's a European name and I thought it fit with Clarines and Tanbarun.
