Red And Blue Are Opposites [ObiX(Y/N)]

Chapter 24

"Goood morning~!" Someone says and opens the curtains. I groan at the sudden burst of light that comes into the room. "Come on wake up, you've got something to tell me young lady."

I open my eyes with much difficulty and see Shirayuki with a broad smile looking down at me.

"Young lady? I'm fairly certain you're not that much older than me."

She shrugs. "Fair enough, but you still have something to tell me."

"And that is?"

"What happened yesterday."

"Ah that."

"Yes, that."

I stay silent.

"Sooo? Are you going to tell me?" She continues.

"Maybe." I sigh and turn around to bury my face in the pillow.

"Ah come on, (Y/N). When you and Obi came back you guys were gleaming. It's because you looked really tired that I haven't confronted you yet."

"What makes you think I am less tired now." I groan into the pillow.

"I just can't hold back any longer. Now tell me!" She demands. I look up from the pillow. She's kinda cute when she's all demanding like this.

"You're really making a lot of noise so early in the morning." I say, still managing to not say anything about yesterday.

"Don't worry, these walls are more soundproof than you think." She says, I look away from her and just stare at the wall. "Ugh you and Obi aren't letting anything slip huh?"

"You tried asking Obi?"

"Yep he seemed all happy, but didn't say why." Okay good. Obi and I thought I'd be nice to let all of them know at the same time when we get back to Clarines.

"So you really aren't going to say anything to me, the one who actually gave you your day together with Obi?" I eye her and she smirks.

"Nope." I say and her smirk falters making me smile. It's fun to tease.

"Nothing?"

"Absolutely nothing." I say while looking at the wall again.

"Not even about that kiss?"

My eyes widen and I look at Shirayuki who's smirking.

"Were you spying on us?" I say while turning around and sitting up.

She laughs. "No, not me. One of the local fishers told me. She said it looked so romantic she couldn't help but watch."

My cheeks are heating up.

"She also said that she was kinda worried for your back when Obi spun you around."

"Oh my goood, how much did she see?" I half groan and bury my face in my hands in embarrassment. Shirayuki laughs and I grab the pillow and throw it at her. I catch her by surprise and the pillow lands and bounces off her face. We're both silence before bursting into laughter.

After we calmed down, Shirayuki goes back on topic. "I have to say, though. That fisher woman did told me some surprising things."

I raise an eyebrow. "Like what?"

"Like she told me all these details and I guess I didn't expect it that.. heated?"

I laugh awkwardly. "Eh that woman must be a real romance fanatic, telling you all that." I then eye Shirayuki and am surprised at how flustered she looks.

"Wait." I say. "Why do you look so embarrassed?"

"I..."

"How.." I begin carefully. "do your kisses with Zen go?" I ask, thinking that might be the thing making her all flustered.

"W-well... I feel my knees go weak and then I just.."

"You collapse?" I ask wide eyed and she nods. No wonder she's embarassed about my passionate kiss. I burst into laughter. It's Shirayuki's turn to throw the pillow, but I catch it with ease.

"Does that happen every time?" I ask and she nods again. "How cute and innocent." I giggle and she pouts but then giggles as well.

It's silent for a bit.

"Feels weird to have a conversation like this." I say.

"Agreed, but it's kinda.."

"Fun?" I question and she nods. "Yeah.. when we get back.. maybe Kiki can join our girl talk?"

She laughs. "Maybe."

Another day passes with me mostly in a wheelchair and visiting people around town. The doctor told me I could move without it if I wanted to, but I shouldn't push myself too much. I can manage walking, but bending over is still painful. Looking back, that fisher lady was right. I was lucky my wound didn't open when Obi was swinging me around.. we both just got very excited.

I also took some time to look at the gifts that were collected in the other room. Many pretty flowers and cute cards with different messages decorated the tables. There was even a boar plush toy that looked very similar to one I had when I was younger. A boar was the first wild animal I've ever seen and for some reason I really liked them as a kid so my mother made me the plush. And although it might sound stupid and illogical, I kind of took the gift as a sign that my parents are looking after me.

We also parted ways with Raji again, since he had to go back. He is a prince after all and has his responsibilities. He told me he came because he and his siblings were worried. I can imagine Rona wanting to scold me when I meet her again...

The next morning, at last I had recovered to the point where I could move around freely again without any wheelchair around and so it was time to visit my statue.

"Ready for it, Blue Anann?" Shun asks me while holding his horse's shackles. The horse reacts briefly to my approaching, but it seems to know I'm no danger as he turns his attention away again. Shun of course is guiding us again. He often calls me 'Blue Anann', but more like a joking nickname rather than an actual title.

"Of course." I answer and give him a reassuring smile.

"To be honest, I look forward to your reaction. I don't think it looks like anything you'd ever expect."

I chuckle. "Well, I don't really have any expectations, so bring it on."

You probably already know this but compared to the original Snowwhite the roles are like this:
Zen - Prince Charming
Shirayuki - Snowwhite
Obi - the huntsman

At least those are all the connections I've made. So I kind of made you part of it too.

You - the boar

Hence the boar plush. Don't attack me yet for pairing you up with a boar, cuz there is actual reasoning behind it XD

The huntsman kills the boar to get his heart. He stole his heart. Obi stole your heart, cause you fell for him. Also, in the original story the boar got hurt instead of Snowwhite and in this story you got hurt while saving Shirayuki.

Ps. If you still want to attack me, I first wrote deer but after researching found out it was a boar. Why couldn't it be a deer dammit, that'd be way cooler XD
