"(Y/N)?" a voice says from behind me. I turn around calmly. Although being deeply in thought, the voice didn't startle me somehow.

I see prince Raji standing there in the balcony doorway in his pyjama's and with one eyebrow raised. It's kind of interesting to see a royal person in casual clothing, but well it is still his home so it makes sense.

"Is something wrong?" He asks.

I shrug. "Not really, I couldn't sleep so I wandered here."

"I see.." he goes to stand next to me and leans on the balcony handrail.

"What about you?" I ask, somehow I feel entirely comfortable with him even though I have barely talked to him before. His clothing right now makes me talk without all the 'your highness' stuff too. I'll be more polite if he asks so though.

"I'm in a similar situation. I can't seem to calm down.."

I think about his words for a bit, then realise it must be because of last time.

"Is it because of the kidnapping last time?"

He eyes me for a moment before looking to the front again. "Ah, so you know about that."

"Yeah, Shirayuki told me everything about her last visit."

"I see.." he lets out a small sigh "You're right, I'm afraid of another kidnapping, even though there's likely no enemy that will do that, the memory still keeps me on edge."

"Understandable, you must've felt quite the guilt."

"Yes, I still can't believe I let that happen in my own castle." His form droops as he looks troubled.

"But you've grown from that, haven't you?" His eyes meet mine again and I smile at him. His eyes widen a bit and then he looks away.

"Yes. A lot actually."

"Good."

A moment of silence.

"So what's your trouble?" He asks.

"Trouble?"

"What is it that keeps you up?"

"Oh.." I think a bit. Should I tell him.. I don't know. Rona was already understanding plus she's a girl. I barely know prince Raji.

"To be honest, I noticed something was off about you when we were dancing, but I didn't want to pry so I didn't ask about it." He says earnestly.

Alright, I'll tell him. "I.. like Obi." I pause. "But he likes Shirayuki."

I can see his eyes twitch a that.. Could it be he likes her too? Wow, you doing great, red-head.

"Aaah.." he seems a bit embarrassed and at a loss for words. "I-I get it. I know how you feel."

"You like her too, don't you?"

His head snaps to me, eyes wide and although the moon is the only thing illuminating the dark night I can still tell he's blushing.

"Well- I- mean I ehh.." He then sighs, knowing there's now way out now. "Yes, I like her, but she simply does not belong here. She belongs with prince Zen."

True that, they're a dream couple.

"I get what you mean.. Obi probably thinks that too.."

"And he still needs to hang around her all the time? That's kind of hard."

"Hey I'm in a similar situation here."

He's silent for a moment, probably thinking about the whole thing. I mean, it's quite the love- what? Triangle? Square? If you include Raji it even gets to five people involved.

"If you were to ask me if he's got an eye on you, I'd say yes though." Raji says.

"What? What makes you think that? He only pays attention to Shirayuki."

"I don't know. It's a hunch." He shrugs. "Maybe his feelings haven't shown yet because he's not aware of it himself."

"That-.. that is possible" I mutter. "but highly unlikely." I add, as an attempt to avoid getting my own hopes up.

"Well, only time will tell. For the record though, I'd choose blue over red." My eyes go to him to see his expression, he's looking in front of him, towards some trees in the distance and to my surprise he looks super serious. He just basically admitted that he'd choose me over his crush though? Before I could ask why, he continues.

"I mean red is warm and nice and all, but stay too close and you'll get burned. Or you might get blinded by it's fierce flame and stray from your own life goal. Overtime I'd rather have chosen the calm sea and sky that accompany me during a journey. It calms me down whenever I need and it's just a nice companion to have on the journey called life.

I stay silent. I knew from what Shirayuki told me that he's got a creative side, but I didn't except something so deep and poetic.

His head turns to me, still as serious as before.

"You and Shirayuki are total opposites, but that doesn't make you any less special. I think Obi will eventually realise your worth and would not want to let go of you."

Without realising, I smile and my heart flutters a bit at these reassuring words.

"Thank you." I mutter.

Raji smiles also and then looks at the scenery again. "I honestly didn't quite expect this from you."

"What? These emotions?"

"Yes, you have this calm aura and plain face all the time. It fits the image of how I'd picture 'Blue Anann'. Serious, calm, strong, but it makes me feel assured now that I know you're an actual human yourself." He says with a chuckle.

"Well, in my opinion I have been glorified far too much. I wouldn't have made it out without other's help."

"I understand why you feel that way, but you should really give yourself some credit here. You've played a major role." Raji says with a sigh.

I give no answer as I'm thinking about his words.

"Anyways, I'm going to head back. You should too, for the trip tomorrow."

"About Shirayuki," I start before he turns away from me. "She's got me now, another friend who is willing to protect her at all costs, so please don't be too worried."

Raji smiles. "Make sure you tell Obi that, okay? He must be on edge too."

"Will do."

"Now, have a good night."

"Yeah, good night."
