Red And Blue Are Opposites [ObiX(Y/N)]

Chapter 26

I look out the window. The terrain is starting to look familiar and I know we're close to the castle now. I turn to Shirayuki who looks to be anticipating the reunion.

"Did you miss your prince?" I ask Shirayuki teasingly.

She looks at me with slight irritation and flushed cheeks. "You know, I'm starting to think the old silent (Y/N) is better."

I laugh. "Sorry, it's fun to tease you."

"Yea I can tell, your teasing has gone from zero to a hundred."

I smile apologetically making her smile with a sigh. "But I have to admit it's now more fun to have you around than before."

I chuckle. "Why thank you."

"And to answer your question, of course I miss Zen, but it's not just him, everyone else too."

"Well, you soon don't have to anymore." I say as the castle comes into view.

A few moments later we ride into the castle grounds. First the long part that is the garden or tiny royal forest you could say, and then we reach the stairs of the castle. Zen, Kiki and Mitsuhide already stand there awaiting us. As soon as the carriage stops, Shirayuki rushes out and goes to hug Zen.

"Zen!" She says elated. He catches her incoming hug with a surprised face.

He laughs. "I've missed you too!"

I go to step out of the carriage too but Obi says "Wait!"

I look at him puzzled as he stands next to the door.

"Let me help you down, miss." He says and offers a hand.

I look at him like 'really' and he laughs. "I can handle a few steps down Obi." I say with sass and step out and towards the group.

Zen pauses and lets Shirayuki slowly go. Mitsuhide and Kiki also freeze and slowly their heads turn to my direction. I look puzzled at their sudden reactions.

"What? Something on my face?" I say and I feel my face to see if something's there.

"N-no, nothing, it's just.." Zen stutters.

"Who are you and what have you done to (Y/N)!" Mitsuhide says while rushing forward and grabbing my shoulders. I burst out in laughter and then he shakes me wildly. I try to close my mouth and hold in my laughter so I wouldn't end up biting my tongue on accident.

"W-woah there, Mitsuhide!" Obi says with a laugh and comes in between me and Mitsuhide. "You really don't recognise the miss?"

Mitsuhide scans me from up to down and frowns. "Well she looks the same.. but she certainly isn't the same. I mean she was all stoney-faced like Kiki before!"

Kiki comes forward and gives Mitsuhide a knock on the head.

"Ouuch! Kiki!" The greenhaired man yells.

"Don't scare (Y/N) like that." Kiki scolds him calmly and then turns to me. "Welcome home." She says with a smile.

"Thank you. I'm glad to be back and sorry for the big change." I smile sheepishly.

Zen then unfreezes. "No no don't say sorry. If anything, I'm glad you've opened up so much. Though, it needs quite some getting used to." He says, Shirayuki standing next to him nods in agreement with his words.

"Master, I think there's another thing you should get used to." Obi stands next to me and grabs my hand with a grin. "We're together." He says with broad grin and I smile as well, albeit surprised at how fast Obi revealed it.
