"Would you like lemon tea?" Izana asked and I nod. A maid pours said tea in my cup and I thank the woman.
"How about you?" He turns to Zen who wanted to join. Zen probably joined because he doesn't trust me with his brother. Naturally, Mitsuhide would join Zen, the loyal aide he is. He is standing with Obi as a guard. Obi looks a bit restless and it makes me think back of the morning he comforted me. Kiki decided to take care of some office work while Zen is gone.
Zen looks uncomfortable and I have to admit, it's very amusing to see. Shirayuki then comes walking to us and after a polite greeting sits down on the empty chair next to Zen. The round table is big enough for us four and there are quite some snacks on the table.
After a few moments, Shirayuki asks why she was called."I want to tell you about my past." I answer. She blinks at me before smiling reassuringly, showing she's more than glad to listen.
"Alright, I'll listen." She says and everyone else on the tables seems to prepare also. I think about where to begin.
"I was born and raised in Feidelm. My parents and I lived in a wooden cottage surrounded in the forest. That was the most peaceful time of my life, everything changed on my sixth birthday. Rogues had put some kind of gas in our cottage when we let our guard down, as we were celebrating my birthday. We all passed out after inhaling the gas. They brought me outside and when I woke up they were burning down the house with my parents still inside."
Shirayuki eyes were wide with shock and I take a moment before continuing.
"I couldn't do anything, as they had me in chains. They then knocked me out and the next time I woke up was on a ship. I learned it belonged to the pirates called 'Sea's Hydra'. While on board, they put me to work and sometimes used me as punching bag for frustrations." I then casually grab a cookie to ease the atmosphere and take small bites in between sentences so it wouldn't disrupt my story too much. I had a lot of time to think about my life, so the words come naturally.
"After a week, we reached land and we docked next to quite a big secret slavery market. They wanted to put me for sale on an auction, but the 'Sea's Talon' hadn't arrived yet so the auction had been postponed. During my waiting there a riot started between the guards about a girl even younger than me. They started beating her up so I stood up for the girl as she was surely going to die if they kept maltreating her. I got punished of course, they whipped my back open." I say and gesture to my back.
"Other people who were also locked up saw my actions and they treated my wounds when I got back in the cell."

"There, this should prevent it from bleeding again." The woman said.
"Thank you." I smiled gratefully.
"That was really brave what you did there."
"Everyone saw what you did. I'm sure everyone's looking up to you."
I blinked at my cellmates. "But I'm just a kid."
"Even more reason to look up to you."
"We adults were too afraid to move."
"And even then you're not just any kid." The woman who bandaged me said and touched my hair. "Hair like the sky.. I never thought I'd see it."
"You are special, kid. From the beginning maybe you're destined to fight for freedom. Freedom like birds in the blue sky."
"Oi, what are you saying, old man?"
"I'm trying to say she'll be our saving angel." The old man smiled at me and I noticed the rotten teeth, but I tried not to look at it. "I'm sure."

I didn't know what to feel at that moment, but I did felt like I could make a change and the thing I wanted to change the most back then was the state of all the captives.
"After observing the guards I noticed patterns in where they were positioned and I took advantage of the moment when there were just two guards. With the help of my cellmates and some good acting we managed to trick a guard into opening the cell. We quickly covered their mouths and knocked them out and it was up to me to get the other keys, as I was the smallest and thus stealthiest.
I got the keys and gave it my cellmates. When I was out of the cell I noticed how hard it was to break out with a big group, so I sneaked out of the building on my own to seek help. I found members of the Mountain's Lions who were willing to help. It took about an hour for us to gather enough people and barge into the building." I pause there, as I'd seen Shirayuki's eyes light up. I look at her with expectation but she waves it off and gestures me to continue.
"The Sea's Hydra got arrested. The auction got shut down, everyone was freed and the secret slavery market was no more. Well at least in that area of Tanbarun."
"Sounds like both our peculiar haired girls caused shutdowns of pirate nuisance." Izana smiles slyly again and I look at Shirayuki. She smiles sheepishly and explains what he means.
"I got kidnapped by the Sea's Talon." My eyes widen at her words. I knew it, she's gotten in trouble because of her hair color too. I'm glad I've got to meet someone similar to me.
"We saved her with the help of the Mountain's Lions." Zen adds and I nod.
"Ah but did you know the leader of Mountain's Lions is Shirayuki's dad?" Obi cheerfully adds, while walking to the table to pop a chocolate in his mouth. Zen gives him a scolding look as he's being so casual, but I feel somewhat grateful that he's back to his normal self again.
"You've got quite the dad then, Shirayuki." I say and she smiles with pride.
"But (Y/N), how did you get to Clarines?" She then asks.
"Afterwards I kept getting approached and recognized because of my hair. I didn't like it and felt like I had to flee so I wandered around in forests and before I knew it I was in Clarines."
"How about the statue then?" Obi turns to me.
"Hm?"
"The elder women told me about a statue, I haven't seen it myself though."
"I have." Izana says and we all turn to him. "I think you should see it for yourself. It's build for you after all."
Zen seems to agree with his brother. "I think that's a great idea."
"Well, I wouldn't mind going back, but I don't really feel like I need too."
"Then how about this? Shirayuki goes to visit her home town and you go to check out the statue." Obi proposes.
"You should visit Prince Raji too then." Izana says. Woah what, the prince? Zen frowns a bit at his name. Jealousy maybe? One of the maids suddenly approaches us and says that Izana is needed.
"Then excuse me. I'll hear about the final decision later, it's up to you brother." He says and leaves.
"Is it okay, Zen? For me and (Y/N) to be gone for a while?" Shirayuki asks after Izana's out of sight.
"I don't think it poses a problem." He looks a bit sad while saying that. "But.." he trails off.
Mitsuhide who has stayed silent up until now suddenly slaps his back. "Man up, Zen! You know you can't always be with Shirayuki!"
"Oouch I know I know." He shakes his head and looks embarrassed. Shirayuki is blushing too. Zen then recovers quickly before saying "Obi, I'll have you be in charge of their safety and (Y/N) please look after them also."
I nod with a slight smile. Well, trip to Tanbarun it is.
