Just like Raji had said, Obi, Eugena and also Sakaki come walking to the dinner table after a few moments. All of them wearing clothes fitting the situation and I have to say, Obi looks really handsome in suits.
"Where have you guys been?" Shirayuki asks curiously.
"We'll leave that for later." Sakaki says with a polite voice. "First, let's enjoy dinner."
I look at Obi and he gives me an assuring smile. They got something planned. And it's probably dancing. I'm sure of it.

After an amazing meal, Raji claps his hands to get our attention. He proceeds with anouncing a little thing he wants to play for us. He pulls out a violin from the instrument case and Eugena stands up to sit on the piano's chair.
"Oh Eugena, I didn't know you played piano?" Shirayuki questions.
"Well, I didn't really have the opportunity to show it yet." He shrugged.
He then turns to make eye contact with his brother. Raji nods and together they play a beautiful symphony, a duet of piano and violin. We enjoy the minutes of art before Raji hands the violin over to a man who just walked into the room. Eugena and the man, an excellent musician apparently, start the next song.
Raji walks to our table, well more like walks to Shirayuki's chair. He puts his hand on his chest and bows a bit. "I would be honored to share a dance with you." He says with a polite smile and offers a hand.
"With pleasure." Shirayuki gleams with delight as she stands up and takes his hand. Raji leads her away from the table and start waltzing around. I look at Obi and notice how his eyes follow their every movement. My heart throbs again. Stop it, heart. Stop aching. Yes, I get it, I'm falling for Obi and I'm jealous. Could you please stop hurting me now?
I suddenly feel a hand on my arm. I look to the left and see Rona standing next to my chair.
"That face.." she mutters. "It says 'lonely'." Her eyes soften as she says it. She's trying to somewhat comfort me, I notice. "You like him, don't you?" She then asks softly. I look at Obi for a quick second. He's paying full attention to the dancing pair, completely oblivious as to what kind of question Rona just asked.
Even though Rona is quite a chatterbox, I do feel like I could tell her this. "Yes.." I whisper with a nod. Rona looks at me for a moment more before her eyes turn determined just like when she decided to help me earlier. She steps away from me, towards Obi and pokes his arm to get his attention.
"You better go dance with her." Rona says to him, with a tone that sounded quite stern. He looks surprised and then turns to me.
A smile forms on his lips. "Of course."
He stands up and just like how Raji did to Shirayuki, he walks up to my chair to ask for a dance. With every step he takes in my direction my heartbeat increased. I put my hand onto his and pull myself up from the chair. While we walk away from the dining table, I thought I'd be good to tell about my dancing experience.
"Ehm Obi, I have never danced before."
He smirks. "No problem, miss. I took dancing classes today, so I can teach you the basics."
"Is that why you were gone before? Just like Eugena and Raji?"
"Yeah, we rehearsed a bit, since Raji likes things to go smoothly." He said with a sheepish smile. Gosh, I can't, that's cute.
"Hah, you guys sure went through some trouble."
Obi proceeds to explain to me the pose and how to move around. Whilst figuring it out together I can't help but think about how close we are. I can feel the heat from his body, which again remind me of his comfortable and caring hugs. It also makes me wonder if he can feel my heart beating this rapidly.
A few minutes pass and we are decent with dancing. He knows I learn quickly so he gave a very compact explanation and showed it rather than talked about it. After that it went great. I didn't step on his feet and I liked how this dance turned into a moment of just us two.
While turning and walking around with Obi, I feel my dress moving with us. I feel satisfied, like it's meant to be. I can only wonder if he feels the same.
I notice while dancing that Obi's eyes shift from my face to something behind me whenever Raji and Shirayuki are there. I turn a few times, when Shirayuki was looking at us and smiling, I'd feel relieved, knowing it was just an interaction, but when I see that Shirayuki isn't looking at us, my heart throbs. Because that meant that even if he's dancing with me, Shirayuki still manages to catch Obi's attention.
A new musician takes over the piano. Eugena and Rona also join the dancing and Shirayuki and I switch partners. Raji looks a bit awkward holding me and it amuses me to see him a bit shy like this.
"Thank you for this. It's a real once in a lifetime experience." I say to ease the awkwardness a bit.
"No thank you. I'm really honored to have you. I never thought I'd meet the Blue Anann."
I smile. "Well, I never thought I'd meet royalty."
He chuckles before asking something. "Say, my little sister didn't do anything weird to you, right?"
My earlier practised showing-teeth smile shows up, more natural than forced. "No nothing to worry about, your highness, but thank you for your concern."
We dance until the end of the song. By then it was already dark outside and we headed back to our rooms. Knowing that we had to leave early the next morning, we all planned to go to bed quite early.
Well, except me of course. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep with how my feelings were toying with me. I showered and changed into more casual clothes. After spending some more minutes in my room, I head to the ballroom again. I come across nobody, just like I wanted.
The ballroom's dark, the dining table's gone and the piano is the only thing left standing. I walk up to windows and notice they're easy to open. I do so and step out onto the balcony. The fresh night air is just what I need right now. Also this little walk through the castle helped me relax a bit too. I take my time and sort out my thoughts, thinking about that one special cat-eyed guy I like while gazing at the night sky.
