Chapter 34

Tobi's POV

Today is the day to move into Taylor's new house, her house is next to the Curtis house. Soda is also moving into Taylor's house so if Taylor goes into labor then he can be by her side every step of the way. Quite romantic but not my scene.

Dallas and I decided to go to the park today since it's such a nice say. The weather is hot and the sun is shining, my body warms up as the sun's rays hit my somewhat tanned skin.

"So, you and Pony? How's that going?" Dallas asked me, I stare at him. Why would he be asking me that?

"Fine. Why are you asking me about relationships? Dally! Did you find someone?!?" I ask with enthusiasm. He rolls his eyes, as if saying 'its no big deal.'

"Dally's got a girl! Dally's got a girl!" I squeal with excitement.

"Yeah, her name is Jasmine Hart, I met her at Buck's a few nights back." Dallas says, maybe it's another broad that wears too much makeup?

"Is she pretty? Is she a hoe?" I ask him.

"She has these warm, chocolate colored eyes and beautiful brown hair, she's more middle class and the only reason she was at Buck's was because, her parents are divorced and she barely sees her dad. I guess it all got to her so I started talking to her and she's a doll." Dallas said, as if he was in a trance. He must really like her if she has this affect on him.

We arrive at the park and I see a little girl with brown hair and hazel eyes, she looks lost. She looks around the age of 7 and her jeans and shirt are a little dirty, she isn't wearing any shoes.

No other people around, except Dally and I so maybe she lives by here?

I walk towards the girl, she looks up at me with unhappy eyes.

"Hi, what's your name?" The girl asks me, suddenly very intrigued.

"My names Tobi, how about you and where are your parents?" I ask her, her face falls as soon as I say the word 'parents'

"My names Emily, my mommy and daddy left me here a long time ago." Emily says and looks down at her feet that are covered in mud.

"Do you want to come home with me?" I sympathetically ask, Emily looks up at me and nods her head up and down.

I laugh and lift her up so she's on my hip.

"Who's the kid?" Dally asks me curiously, I explain to him where I found her and how I'm taking her back to Taylor's to wash up.

Dally went back to Buck's to meet up with Jasmine while I went back to Taylor's. The sky is now dark and the stars and moon light up the sky. I enter the house, Grace and Johnny are cuddled up on the couch.

"Where's Dylan?" I ask them, Grace points up stairs, she gives me a curious look and nods her head to Emily.

"I found Emily at the park and she might be staying with us for awhile." I tell her, she smiles at Emily and continues to cuddle with Johnny.

I walk up the steps with Emily squirming in my arms, we go to the bathroom and I start to run a bath so Emily can get cleaned up.

"Can you be my new mommy?" Emily asks me, she steps in the tub and I start washing her.

"Honey, if you want me to be then I will." I tell her, she starts smiling uncontrollably.

After the bath, I take her into my room and put her one of my shirts that looks huge on Emily's little, skinny figure. Next, I take a shower, after I get out, Emily is sitting on my bed.

"Emily, are you hungry?" I ask her, she nods and we go downstairs where Taylor and Pony are now making food in the kitchen. I go into the fridge and take out a apple, I slice it up and give it to Emily.

"Hi, Emily." Taylor says to Emily, guess Grace told her about her. I explain everything to Taylor and she says that Emily can stay with us because we have enough money for food and stuff.

I yawn really loud, the Emily yawns. Tired. Exhausted.

"Ready to go to sleep?" Emily nods slowly and we walk upstairs to go to sleep, I put Emily in a bed across the room from Dylan, then I go into my room and lay on my bed, I feel someone wrap their arms around my waist. I turn my head and Pony kisses me, I smile and we cuddle, then fall asleep.

What are we going to do with Emily? Will her parents ever come back for here? When will I meet Jasmine?
