Chapter 41

Sodapop's POV

I was rocking Luke back and forth in my arms but then the phone started ringing. I give Luke to Taylor and answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Soda! We got caught mailbox hitting and you gotta pick me up from the police station." Pony says.

"I'll be there soon." I tell him and hang up the phone.

"What was that about?" Taylor asks me with a worried expression.

"I gotta pick Pony up from the police station. I'll be right back." I tell her and kiss her before walking out the door.

Tobi's POV

So, here I am. Dally told me that our 'parents' have to pick us up. Id rather slit my wrists instead of having to see them again.... but I don't wanna stay in a jail cell.

"Oh, my baby!" A woman shouts, that woman happens to be my 'mother'.

She hands the officer money to bail out Dally and I.

"Alright Winstons, let's go." The officer says and opens the jail cell door.

Dallas and I walk past our mother and continue our walk to Taylor's. A car pulls up next to us.

"Need a ride?" The person asks and rolls down their window. Soda!

"Thanks." I say and hop in the back with Pony, Dallas sits in the front passenger seat.

"Your mom looked beyond pissed when we left." Pony tells me and puts his arm over my shoulder.

"She's not my mom. She's a mistake." I spat.

"At least you have a mom." Pony says.

"Pony I'm sor-" I try to say but he places his hand over my mouth.

The rest of the car ride is silent. I can't believe I'm complaining about my mom when his mom died. Ugh I'm so selfish. Once we get home I run upstairs and enter my room. Emily is fast asleep on the bed, I smile and carry her to her bed. I lay Emily down and kiss her forehead.

Oh right, I need to get up early tomorrow because I'm starting my job at the Dingo. I walk back to Pony and I's room and crash on the bed. Right when I'm about to fall asleep a pair of arms wrap around my waist. Ponyboy.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Ugh, I will never get used to that. I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom with my uniform that I was given. First, I take a shower and do my business. Then I put on light makeup and put my uniform on.

I walk down stairs, put on my black flats and start my walk to Dingo. Once I get there, it's practically empty.

Jasmine's POV

I turn on my side in Dally's arms. He pulls me closer to him and kisses my lips, I kiss back.

"Didn't know you were awake." Dallas says in his sexy morning voice. He's gonna be the death of me.

"Now you know. I'm hungry" I whine and roll on top of Dally.

He looks at me with a small smile on his face and places his hands on my hips.

"We could get the gang and go to the Dingo, Tobi is working there now." Dally says and moves so now he's on top.

"I always like being on bottom and okay." I respond and wink at Dally.

Dallas kisses me and we get into a heated make out.

Grace's POV

"I love you." Johnny says and kisses my cheek.

"I love you." I reply and kiss his lips, he smiles into the kiss.

We pull away and walk down to the kitchen. Ponyboy, Sodapop, Steve, Taylor, Dylan, Emily, Luke, Two-bit are all sitting around the kitchen in a conversation.

"Yeah but if you have one mega boob then where's the fun in that?" Two-bit asks.

I freeze and look at him with wide eyes and a small smile.

"What the hel- heck are you guys talking about?" I ask them.

"Nice save. Having one mega boob instead of two small ones. Wouldn't it be better to have one?" Taylor argues.

"No it wouldn't because then where would I put my other hand?" Steve argues back.

"Why don't you kids go play upstairs." I say to Dylan and Emily, they run upstairs and go do whatever.

"If you only had one then I wouldn't be able to do this." Soda says and then goes behind Taylor and puts his hands on her boobs.

"My virgin eyes!" Ponyboy shouts and covers his eyes.

"Yeah sure, virgin." Two-bit says and we all start laughing.

Jasmine and Dally walk into the house and ask if we wanna go to the Dingo, we all agree and are ready in under ten minites. We all walk down the road to the Dingo.

Ponyboy's POV

We enter the Dingo and sit in one of the booths. Tobi walks over to a table full of Socs and starts to have a whole damn conversation with them. That pisses me off.

She then walks over to our table, takes our orders and walks away. She didn't have a conversation with us but with the Socs.

Tobi's POV

Work was boring today. At least those Socs kept me somewhat entertained. Pony looked pissed but I'm not exactly sure why so I'll just have to ask him when I get home.

My shift is over so I walk back home and everyone is asleep except Ponyboy. He's sitting on the couch, once he hears me come in, he stands up and starts walking towards me.

"Why were you talking to those Socs?!" He asks me with anger in his voice.

"Because they were my friends?" I respond but it comes out more like a question.

"I don't want you talking to the Socs. Or the Limited X gang. I'm getting one of the guys or girls to walk with you to work from now on." Ponyboy tells me and gets all up in my face. Hell no.

"Or not. Pony, I'm capable of walking to work by myself and I can talk to whoever I want. Since when did you decide this?!" I say, now I'm getting mad. This is my life, not his.

"This isn't your life! It's mine! Your not in charge of me! You don't own me! Maybe if we were married, it'd be a different story but are we? No!" I shout at him.

He was about to say something but soft crying stopped him. I turn around and Emily is at the bottom of the stairs crying. I slowly walk over to her and pick her up.

"Better get comfortable on the couch. Goodnight." I quietly say to Pony and carry Emily into my room.

"Why are you and daddy fighting?" Emily asks me, I kneel in front of her and wipe away her tears with my thumb.

"Daddy and I weren't fighting, we were just talking very loud." I tell Emily and lay her in bed next to me.

"Bu-"

"Goodnight Emily." I say quickly and kiss her forehead.
