Chapter 44

Jasmine's POV

After dinner Steve and I decided we should tell the gang the news. When we walk into Taylor's house all eyes are on us.

"We have an announcement." I say to the gang.

"Please tell me your not cheating on me with this idiot." Dally said to me with worry.

"No baby, not in a million years. I will love you forever and always" I said to Dally.

Dally's face went from angry to relaxed.

"Me and Jasmine here are brother and sister." Steve said with a smirk.

Everyone's mouths just dropped.

"How...What....when?" Ponyboy asks with confusion.

"First off, my dad is his dad and my mom is getting back together with my dad, which is also Steve's dad." I explain.

"I am just shocked. I just need a minute." Ponyboy said.

"Hahaha it's okay Pony, I was too." I tell him.

Ponyboy's POV

Today I'm gonna ask Dally if I can ask Tobi to marry me.

"Hey Dally, can I talk to you outside?" I ask Dally.

He nods and heads out the front door with me right behind him.

"Listen Dally, I was wondering if I could ask Tobi to marry me." I ask Dally.

I was getting prepared for a big punch in the face but he didn't punch me.

"Aren't you gonna punch me or something?" I ask him.

"Nah, you can marry her but if you break her heart, you are mine yah hear?" Dally tells me.

"Yeah, loud and clear" I say and walk into the house.

I'm gonna ask Tobi tomorrow and I'm already really nervous. So I'll ask Soda for advice. With his advice I'll get the perfect idea.

------The Next Day-----

Tobi's POV

"TOBI, EMILY FELL! HURRY ITS URGENT!" I hear Pony scream from our room upstairs.

"I'M COMING! DALLY CAN YOU COME HELP ME PLEASE!" I yell as I run upstairs, Dally right behind me.

When I enter the room Emily is holding a sign that says;

'Mommy will you marry Daddy? Love, Emily'

I stand there confused. Then Emily moves the sign and I see Ponyboy on one knee and he pops the question.

"Tobi Elizabeth Winston, will you do me the honor of marrying me?" He asks with hope in his eyes.

"YES YES YES!" I scream and I give him the biggest kiss ever.

I MUST tell Taylor when she gets home!

Taylor's POV

I was walking home from the store when I see the limited X group standing in front of me.

"Well, what do we have here little Mrs. Taylor Curtis." One of them says.

"Leave me alone ya fags." I say while trying to get through but in less than 5 seconds I was pinned on the ground.

"Leave me alone! Go jump some other greaser!" I shout but they don't budge.

"SODAPOP HELP!" I scream.

Just as I was about to scream again, they stabbed me in the chest and started kicking and slugging me.

"Leave her here to die, it will be soon now hahaha." One of the limited X people say.

I can barley stand, luckily I was only about two blocks away from my house. When I stumble in the door I fall into Soda's arms and tell him what happened.

"I love you Taylor, please don't leave me! Luke needs you, I need you, Tobi need you!" Soda begs me but I can barley keep my eyes open.

"I love you soda and never forget it, I love Luke too and please take care of him. I love you." I told soda and then everything went black.

Soda's POV

"Taylor please don't leave me I need you!" I beg her but its too late, she's gone. All I did was cry with Tobi. I have never seen Tobi this upset.

----1 Day After Death---

The only people Tobi will talk to are me and Dally. She refuses to talk to anyone but us. I have to be strong for the gang and Luke and Tobi. Taylor was Tobi's best friend, I can't imagine what she is going through.

----1 Week After Death----

It's been a week since Taylor was killed and Tobi has made it her quest to find the people that killed Taylor and kill them. I can't watch her get killed like Taylor. I need her, the gang needs her, my son needs her, her daughter and husband need her!
