Dally's Kid Sister

Chapter 42

Tobi's POV

I woke up with Emily cuddled up in my chest and I realized that Ponyboy isn't in bed with me. Maybe he got up and started breakfast?

I get out of bed and pull the covers up to Emily's chin. I walked into the living room and see Ponyboy laying on the couch with a pillow and blanket.

"Wake up babe" I say to Ponyboy while shaking him awake.

"Leave me alone. I'm still mad at you" Pony says in a angry tone.

"Well sorry, I was trying to be a good girlfriend." I snap at him.

I storm in to the kitchen and make myself a bowl of cereal and a piece of toast with a cup of coffee.

"Morning sis." Dally says and takes my toast out of my hand.

"Mornin'. You owe me a piece of toast." I tell him.

Taylor walks into the kitchen with Luke in her arms. Dallas pours himself a cup of coffee and sits down at the table with me.

"Hey Tay." I say, she smiles at me and grabs a bottle for Luke.

"How's baby control? Where's Soda?" I ask her.

"Very peachy. Sodapop had to stay up with Luke all night so he's sleepin' in."

"So how are you and Ponyboy" Dally asks me as I put my cereal bowl in the sink.

"Not very good, I wouldn't be surprised if he called off our relationship and leaves me as a single mom with Emily." I tell Dally. I frown at the thought of Ponyboy leaving me.

"Hey, Pony would have to be pretty stupid to leave you. Your amazing, nice, intelligent, my kid sister, pretty, and my kid sister." Dally says and smiles to himself.

"Oh your so full of it." I say and bump him on my way out of the kitchen.

"I'm goin' to school. Dally will you watch Emily for me?" I yell as I put on my converse.

"Yeah, don't worry she's in good hands" Dally says.

"Tay! Please watch Emily and Dally for me! Thanks! Bye Dal love you!"

"Love ya too Tobi! Stay away from those Socs!" Dallas says to me.

"Okay I won't! Tell Emily I love her too." I said while walking out the door.

"Hey Tobi" Bob called as I was walking down the street.

"Hey Bob! Hey Randy! What's up?" I say with a smirk on my face.

"Nothing, want a ride to school?" Randy asked. Pony will skin me alive.

"Sure why not" I reply and hop in the back of the blue mustang.

"Why where you walking alone? Where's Ponyboy?" Bob asks me as I hop in the car.

"We got into a fight last night and he said that he wasn't talking to me when I tried to wake him up this morning." I say and stare out the window at nothing.

"Don't worry he'll come around." Bob says as we pull into the school parking lot.

"I hope."

I hop out of the car and see Ponyboy staring at me. He starts walking over to me, I stand there like a statue scared out if my mind. I swear I saw steam come out of his ears.

"What were you doing with the Socs?" Pony asks me and takes a grip on my wrist.

"Bob asked me if I wanted a ride because he didn't want me to get jumped, since I was walking alone" I snap at him.

"You know what, I am done! We are through Tobi Winston! Never talk to me again and never bring that hell of a daughter near me again." Pony shouts at me. I feel like crumbling to pieces but I stand my ground.

"Go to hell Ponyboy" I say and walk back to Taylor's.

I've lost him. I've lost my everything. I'm done. Tears begin to stream down my cheeks.

I see Dallas on the couch with Emily. I ran over to Dally and jumped in his arms.

"Dally it was horrible" I say while crying into his chest.

"Sh-shh it's okay. Tobi, what happened?" He asks and starts to stroke my hair.

"He broke up with me and told me not to bring my good for nothing daughter around him again" I tell him.

"It's okay Tobi. I'll talk to him, stay home today while I go talk to Pony." He says and walks out the door.

"Mommy, are you okay?" Emily asks and wraps her small little arms around me.

"Now I am." I say and hold her in my arms.

Dallas's POV

I can't believe Ponyboy did that to my little sister. He's gonna get it.

When I get to Tobi's school I see Ponyboy outside talking to another girl. By then I was fuming, I walk up to him and grabbed his collar.

"Why did you hurt my sister?" I ask. Pony looks at me in fear.

"I told her to stop hanging around with them Socs and not to talk to the Limited X and she didn't listen. So I broke up with her and said not I bring her good for nothing daughter near me again." He says, I punch him square in the jaw.

"She can home crying her eyes out. She loves you and you hurt her and Emily. The fuck is wrong with you?" I say and punch him in the stomach.

"She can hang out with who she wants and you can't get mad with who she wants to hang out with." I say and throw him to the ground.

"Damn, your right Dal, for once. Where is she?" Ponyboy asks.

"At home balling her eyes out with your daughter." I say and throw him over my shoulder.

Tobi's POV

I was playing with Emily when the door swung open. I turned my head to see Ponyboy over Dally's shoulder with a bloody nose.

"Tobi I'm so sorry! I love you with all my heart! Can you please forgive me?" He says and pulls me in for a kiss.

"Of course I forgive you. But if you ever do that again, I'm gonna cut off your balls and hang them in a tree." I say and kiss his soft pink lips.
