Sodapop's POV

Dally still ain't awake, he's been out for a week so far and Tobi is having a hard time handling it all. Taylor and Grace are trying to help out To-

My thoughts are interrupted by a sound of movement near me, I look up and Dally's eyes are open and he's tryin to sit up.

"Dally!"

"Aye Soda. How fucked am I?" His voice is scratchy, like he hadn't woken up in ages.

"Your gonna get arrested. You gotta be locked up for a little over a month."

"I've been in for longer. Not a big deal. Where's Tobi?"

"She's at home. Man, she's having a hard time dealin' with this. She thought you were gonna die."

"Call her up and tell her to get over here." Dallas says, I nod and find a phone to call everyone up.

Tobi's POV

Nothing. I have been doing nothing for the past week. My wrist still stings if it's touched but luckily, no one has seen it yet.

The phone in the living room starts ringing, I groan and get up to answer it.

"Yeah?"

"Tobi! Dally's up and he wants to see you!" Sodapop says, I hang up and run outside where Pony, Darry, Johnny, Two-bit, and Steve are playing a game.

"Guys! Dally is up! Let's go!" I shout, they all look at me and then rush to the truck.

Once we arrive at the hospital, I run to Dally's room and see him awake.

"Dally!" I yell and run to him, I hug him and he hugs back like he hasn't seen me in forever.

"Aye sis, how ya doin?" He asks, I put on a fake smile and say I'm fine. Everyone else comes in and we all talk and laugh like old times.

"Visiting hours are over." A nurse says and leaves the room, all the guys leave but I stay put.

"Explain." Dallas says, I look at him confused. Does he know about it?

"Explain what?"

"Your wrist. Come on baby sis, why'd you do that?" Dally asks me, I look down and my eyes start to water.

"I just.... I didn't know what else to do. I thought you were gone and I.. I don't know."

"Promise me, you won't do it again?"

"I promise." Dally smiles, I smile back and I'm just happy that he's still alive.

"Alright, go get to your lover and I'll see you soon." I nod and walk to Darry's truck.

We drive home and enter the house, Taylor and Grace are sitting on the couch in a deep conversation.

"Tobi! Do you wanna go on a walk with me and Grace?" Taylor asks me, I agree and we start walking towards the park.

"So me and Grace were talking and I need to tell you something but you can't freak out. Promise?" Tay says turning to face me.

"Okay, I promise that I won't freak out." Wow two promises in a row today.

"I- I'm pregnant. Don't tell any of the guys! Soda doesn't even know yet!" Woooaaahhh...

"I won't. But, are you sure?" Taylor nods with worried eyes, I hug her and she hugs back.

"Everything will be alright. If Soda turns out to be a ass and doesn't stick by your side, you got me and Grace." I assure her. She nods and we go back to the house for a night full of laughs and jokes.
