The gang and I were all crowed around a table. Two-Bit was practically already drunk, it was quite possible that he came here drunk. It didn't matter though, we were all having a great time. I looked around for Richard but he was hanging with Mark and some other Socs so I decided to avoid him. Instead I decided to stick with Sodapop and Steve when the gang went their separate ways. I spent the entire night snapping photos on my new camera and taking videos.

"I bet you I could get any girl in this room to dance with me," Steve cockily stated.

"Ok if you win I buy you a drink but if you lose you have to buy me a drink," I smirked, "how about that one red-head."

"Cherry Valance? The Soc?" Steve asked with wide eyes.

I nodded my head and laughed as Steve went to go talk to her. The whole interaction didn't go so well for Steve, it resulted in him being slapped silly. I was dying of laughter when Steve came back and glared at me. I simply shrugged, "next time Randall."

Sodapop came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders, "wanna dance a little?"

Sodapop came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders, "wanna dance a little?"

I nodded my head, took his hand, and led him out to the dance floor where everyone was drunkenly dancing. "Show me your moves Pepsi-Cola," I laughed.

Sodapop started to do this ridiculous dance move that caused me to loose all my breath laughing. "What do you think?" He joked.

"You're horrible!" I said laughing.

"Ouch," he said pretending to be hurt.

I rolled my eyes, "I'm sorry did I hurt your feelings?"

He nodded his head and gave me puppy dog eyes. "I could really use a kiss."

"Wow you're too smooth," I sarcastically stated and gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Whatever," he said rolling his eyes. We continued to dance the night away and soon pretty much everyone had cleared out of the place except for the gang and Richard and Mark. Something was up.

I watched Richard and Mark closely, they exchanged a series of whispers and glances in my direction. Mark appeared to be completely sober but Richard, on the other hand, was so drunk that Mark appeared to be controlling him. I saw Mark hand Richard something that I couldn't make out and Mark exited the building. This is so sketchy.

"Guys, something is up with Mark and Richard, let's go," I said to Sodapop and Steve.

"Ok I'll go find Dally you guys go find Two-Bit," Steve suggested. I nodded my head and went to go find Two when I ran into Richard.

"Oh hey Richard we're just leaving," I said awkwardly.

"Leaving so soon?" He slurred. I soon realized that literally everybody else had left the party except for the gang and Richard. "Everybody line up," he yelled whipping out a gun. Everybody obeyed him and lined up.

"Richard what are you doing?" I demanded.

"I'm sorry Katy, but I've got orderers. You flinch you loose," he said smiling.

"You know, Richard, I thought that maybe you had gone back to your old self and had become a good brother again. Apparently I was wrong, but regardless you don't have to shoot anybody!" I pleaded.

"Shut up," he said through gritted teeth as he pulled me out of the line and forced me to face my only friends. Slowly he went down the line and pressed the cold metal to everyone's head. Each person he would check to make sure I didn't flinch until he got to Dally. I didn't make any movement, I wasn't even breathing. "I told you not to flinch!" He yelled.

"I'm not even breathing! I'm not flinching!" I screamed.

"I told you not to flinch," he stated shaking his head, "I told you not to flinch, Katy,"

Sorry for another trash chapter! My next book, Sunshine, will be so much better, k? I'm sorry for what's about to happen :(
