"They entered the large building, heading straight to the hall. He gradually placed his hand around her waist, causing her pain with his nails digging into her soft skin. She stifled her cries, mindful of the people present at the party.

Pulling her closer, he whispered in her ear, "Consider this a warning, Kylie. I want you to feel this pain as a reminder to behave and not harm anyone here. I know you have a tendency to find pleasure in such actions."

Kylie nodded, holding back her tears, and he praised her, saying, "Good girl."

Kylie sat down as Ryan left her, unsure of his whereabouts. Exhausted, all she wanted was a good night's sleep. Although she longed to go home, she couldn't without informing him, knowing it could be dangerous. Ryan returned with two glasses of wine, surprising her.

"I don't drink," she said, taken aback.

"Really?" he smirked. "You don't strike me as a non-drinker, Kylie. Just try it. I won't ask again."

"I've never had alcohol," she insisted, standing on her ground.

"I didn't ask you that. Just take the drink, Kylie," he said, his tone harsh.

Reluctantly, she took it and drank it in one gulp.
"Are you happy now?" she asked, her voice trembling.

He simply smiled and walked away, content with the outcome.

***********

Kylie was searching for Ryan in the crowded room, eager to discuss going home. Suddenly, she spotted him engaged in conversation with his colleagues.

She hurriedly approached him, saying, "Ryan, I really need to talk to you."

"Sorry," he replied to his colleagues, who nodded and walked away.

"I'm busy, Kylie. Can't you see?" he snapped through clenched teeth.

"Ryan, I feel weak. I think the alcohol..." Kylie began, but was interrupted by another woman.

"Hey, baby, care to dance?" the woman said, casting a seductive glance at Ryan.

"With pleasure, Demi," he smiled. He followed her to the dance floor and started dancing.

Kylie felt so embarrassed watching them dance. She felt foolish and wanted to cry, seeing him treat her like that in public.

"Can I sit with you, Mrs. Ryan?" someone asked.

"Sure," I replied, not fully paying attention to who was speaking.

"I'm Edward, by the way. I'm Ryan Carter's ex-business partner," he said, extending his hand for a handshake.

"Hello," he said, trying to redirect her attention.

Her eyes were fixed on Ryan and the woman he was dancing with. While his eyes stared at her with anger, she felt scared and didn't know what to do. She had no idea why he was so angry.

When he noticed Ryan looking at them, he intentionally touched her hands to provoke him. She quickly pulled her hands away, confused by his actions.

Ryan stopped dancing and angrily approached his wife, tightly gripping her hands.
"We're leaving," he said.

"Hey, why are you leaving so early? Isn't this your colleague's wedding party, Mr. Ryan?"

He gave him a fierce look.
"Don't you ever get tired of flirting with every woman? Not every lady here is promiscuous. This woman right here is my wife, and you better know that, you fucking pig."

"Why don't you ask your wife that silly question?" Edward fired back.

"Because what's mine has nothing to do with you, Edward," he said, getting closer.

"I never thought someone like you would get so worked up over nothing. Don't worry, Ryan, I don't go for second-hand things. So relax, R-ry..."

"What the hell did you mean by that?" Ryan shouted. Without waiting for Edward's response, Ryan began throwing punches, not giving him a chance to speak.

"STOP IT, PLEASE!" I pleaded, completely clueless about what had triggered this altercation. I tried to intervene and stop Ryan from attacking Edward, but he pushed me so forcefully that I fell to the ground, completely drained of strength.

RYAN P.O.V
What the fuck did you mean by that?" Ryan fumed, his anger reaching its peak. Before Edward could utter a word, I unleashed a flurry of punches, not giving him a chance to respond. In the midst of the chaos, someone pleaded for us to stop, but my rage consumed me. In the heat of the moment, I pushed them away with all my might, causing them to fall hard.

KYLIE P.O.V
I saw Ryan's anger boiling over as he confronted Edward. Without giving him a chance to respond, Ryan unleashed a series of punches. I desperately pleaded for them to stop, but my efforts were in vain. In the chaos, Ryan's forceful push knocked me down, leaving me feeling weak and helpless.
