"You're Violet's brother?" she asked, her voice trembling as tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Yes, I am. Do you have anything to say before you face the consequences?" he replied sternly, his words filled with determination.

"You can't accuse me of something I didn't do. I could sue you for this," she said, trying to muster some confidence.

He stepped closer, his voice low and menacing. "Do you really think you can win against me? I have the best lawyer, money, and power. What makes you think you stand a chance?"

"Y-You have to believe me, Mr. Carter. I didn't hurt your sister, Violet. We're not just on a..."

"Stop making those silly excuses!" he shouted angrily. "Don't you dare utter my sister's name with that filthy mouth of yours." She felt a wave of fear wash over her as his words pierced through her.

"You will pay for your crime. This is the day I've been waiting for my whole life, Kylie."

"I'll do anything, please. Just don't do this to me. I really don't wanna end up in jail," she sobbed, her voice filled with desperation.

He couldn't help but feel a sick sense of satisfaction. He knew she was at her breaking point, easily manipulated and controlled. It gave him a twisted pleasure to see her like this, completely under his power.

As he observed her closely, he couldn't ignore the bruises that marred her skin and face. It was evident that she had endured far too much for any girl to bear.

"What do you have to bring to the table, Ms. Kylie?" he asked, his gaze fixed on her, waiting for her response. She appeared outwardly beautiful and innocent, but he knew deep down that she wasn't what she seemed. In his eyes, she would always be a murderer.

"I've got nothing to offer now, and you know it," she replied, looking down and nervously fidgeting with her fingers. She refused to give him the satisfaction of seeing her cry. Showing her vulnerability was something she despised.

"I know you've got nothing valuable to offer me. That's why I've got a proposition for you. Take it or face the consequences of going to jail. I'm sure you know what's best for you, Kylie."

She stared at him, her confusion evident in her eyes.

"You have no choice but to marry me, Kylie. I don't believe you have any better options. If you reject this offer, then prepare for a life behind bars."

"Do yourself a favor and choose wisely, Ms. Kylie," he said, leaning in close to her ear and whispering, "Alternatively, you can choose to be my submissive for as long as I desire. I'll divorce you whenever I see fit."

She couldn't believe what she was hearing, and her shock was evident on her face.

"N-no, you can't do this to me," she stammered, her voice filled with desperation.

"And why not? You mad woman," he sneered, raising his brow. "Why can't I do that to you? In fact, you have two seconds to decide your fate."

How could someone be so heartless? She felt trapped, with no other choice but to accept his proposal. The thought of spending the rest of her life in jail was unbearable. It seemed like nobody cared enough about her to even know she was in such a dire situation.

"Time's up, Ms. Kylie," he said, his gaze filled with a chilling intensity that made my blood run cold.

"I can't stand waiting, especially for someone like you who has no future. Don't you dare keep me waiting when I speak to you. I expect immediate responses. Do you understand?" he demanded, locking eyes with me.

I nodded, my hands trembling uncontrollably. "I have no choice. You can do whatever you think is right."

And it's not just him. People always seem to make me feel insignificant, as if I don't matter. It's not the first time I've felt this way."

"No worries, I can help you with that! Here's the corrected chapter with some additional words:

"You know very well that your tears won't change my mind, Kylie," he said coldly. "I'm announcing to the media tomorrow, so you better be there. Everyone will be thrilled to see my 'fake' fiancée."

"Okay," she replied, her voice trembling. She turned to leave, but his voice stopped her in her tracks.

"Don't even think about running, because it will be futile. It will only bring you more trouble."

She wiped away her tears and whispered, "Don't worry, I won't." With a heavy heart, she left, tears streaming down her face.
