I fell to my knees, completely lost. Why would Ryan do this to me? He may despise me, but he's always been serious about work and education. He took away my happiness in an instant, and I don't think I'll ever be the same. He crushed my dreams.

Right now, I don't understand anything. I feel so lost. I have every right to hate him for what he did? Do I deserve this? No one deserves to go through this pain. It hurts so much.

I heard his footsteps approaching, but I couldn't stand up due to the pain. I don't want to see or talk to Ryan right now. I know he's not done yet. He'll say hurtful things, but I've grown used to it.

It reminds me of how I felt when I saw my little sister lying in a hospital bed, fighting for her life. She had dreams too, just like Kylie and everyone else. It's heartbreaking and makes me feel so helpless.

"He came so close to me, whispering, 'Don't worry, Kylie. This is just the beginning.' Then he walked out of the kitchen, leaving me in deep pain."

I couldn't believe what I had just heard. Anger surged through me as Ryan's words echoed in my mind. How could he be so cruel? The pain he caused me only fueled my determination to overcome this and find my own strength.

I hate him, I really hate him
*********

It's been a month since the incident, and I've been doing my best to avoid him. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I realized how much I've changed. It's been so long since I genuinely smiled. When I try to smile now, it's filled with pain that I don't want others to see. I reluctantly applied a little powder and pink lipstick. I'm not a fan of makeup, but I want to avoid embarrassing him in front of his friends. In the end, I know I'll be the one to suffer the consequences.

There were ten guests in total - five men and their respective partners. As Kylie entered the main living room, all eyes turned to her, causing her cheeks to flush. The men looked sharp in their tuxedos, while the women wore elegant silk gowns adorned with expensive jewelry. Kylie couldn't help but feel out of place, with only her wedding necklace and ring as her accessories.

"Kylie!"

To her surprise, she heard a familiar voice. Her heart calmed as she saw a man approaching her. He had slicked-back brown hair, playful blue eyes, and a sun-kissed complexion.

"It's been so long," he said as he approached her. Liam was a loyal customer at Elite, always generous with tips, knowing she was facing financial difficulties.

Kylie was pleasantly surprised to see him. "Mr. Liam! I didn't expect to see you here. How have you been?" she asked, filled with excitement.

"Much better now," he winked and flashed a charming smile. "I heard my dear old friend got married to you, but seeing you now... oh, I wish I had found you sooner, Kylie."

"Oh, Mr. Liam, you always know how to make me blush! I'm doing well, thank you. It's been quite a journey since we last saw each other. How about you? How have things been going for you?"

"You know, Kylie, life has had its ups and downs, but seeing you here brings back some fond memories. I've been keeping busy with work and trying to enjoy life as much as possible. How about we catch up over a drink sometime? I'd love to hear more about what you've been up to."

"Oh, Mr. Liam, I appreciate the offer, but I think it's best if we keep things friendly. I'm focused on my own journey right now. But thank you for thinking of me!"

Liam nods understandingly. "I completely respect your decision, Kylie. If you ever need someone to talk to or support you, remember that I'm here for you as a friend.

Kylie nod. Standing awkwardly
