{ she missed the way his lips felt on hers. }

-

filming sucked. every second millie spent with finn she wanted to die. she missed him more then she thought it was ever possible to miss someone. she cried every night.

she missed the way he laughed with her.

she missed the way he flirted.

she.... missed the feel of his lips on hers.

she missed running her fingers through his curly hair.

she missed having a spark when they filmed together.

though she hated to admit it, she missed being yelled at for having hickeys on her neck.

she finished up her makeup for a friday morning and took her cab over to set, entering the school trailer and taking her seat, flashing noah a sad smile.

"how's it going mills?" he asked softly.

"not better. i can't say worse, because it's the exact same. we only talk during scenes."

he nodded, a frown on his face. suddenly, his whole face lit up with excitement.

"what?" millie asked impatiently as he whipped out his phone and started texting someone furiously.

"i had an idea. you're coming to my apartment tonight. you me and sadie. we're gonna have a sleepover, tons of snacks, and help you get over finn."

millie rolled her eyes. "you really think this will work?"

noah smiled. "i do."

the door opened, and millie's heart dropped as finn slowly slid into the seat next to her.

she opened her phone and pretended to be busy texting someone, but he stared at her and she finally dropped the act.

"what do you want?" she whispered.

"millie, can we please talk? about... this? i don't know what's going on, please - just let me talk to you after class."

millie willed herself not to cry.

"i'm sorry. i don't want to talk to you. can you just leave me alone?"

his heart broke as she sat up, moving across the table and sitting next to noah, who smiled and started to talk to her.

finn stared staring at her, staring at her, until her eyes drifted back over to him and she narrowed them, eyes filling with tears.

-

millie ran out of the trailer and down the steps, chasing after noah.

"millie bobby brown, i swear to god if you don't talk to me right now, i will leave the show."

she flipped around, anger in her eyes. "you're not in charge of me. and you wouldn't do that."

he raised an eyebrow. "want to test me?"

"finn, you're a fucking idiot." millie walked up to him, grabbing his arm and pulling him away, down to a picnic area across set.

he followed her, surprised she agreed, and when she stopped, folding her arms angrily and stepping away from him, raising an eyebrow, he couldn't speak, his words were caught in his throat as he looked at her beautiful face.

"well?" she hissed.

"millie..." he choked out.

they stared at each other in silence for a minute, and her face softened.

"finn..." she whispered, her hand reaching towards him slowly.

"millie, you... i- fuck." finn grabbed her and pulled her into his chest, grabbing her hands in his.

"what are you doing, finn?" she whispered, tears in her pretty eyes.

"i told you, millie. i can't be without you forever. there will never be someone like you for me. you're my love. i love you. i made the biggest mistake of my life breaking up with you."

millie started crying, laying her head on his shoulder, sniffling loudly. "finn, i love you too."

"i'm sorry, millie. it was the biggest regret of my life. please, please take me back. I love you so much."

she smiled, her eyes welled with tears. "oh finn. of course i-,"

"WATCH OUT!" millie screamed as the trailer smashed into her.

"FUCK!" finn grabbed her limp body from the ground and kissed her, willing her to wake up.

"millie. millie. god please no. MILLIE!"

tears rolled down his face, and he collapsed to the ground, sobbing over her. "please no. god please no, millie, please!"

people rushed over, apologizing for the out of control trailer, and someone called 911.

finn's vision went blurry.

-

"fuck, fuck, fuck."

finn paced back and forth, swearing as he waited for millie's doctor.

sadie stood up, fed up with him. "finn, sit down."

"no, sadie!" he hissed, ripping her off him.

"does this not seem oddly familiar, finn?" sadie yelled. "i need you to calm down."

"sadie... fuck. i just got her back..." he started sobbing, grabbing onto sadie, who rocked awkwardly with his weight.

"oh, finn. you guys got back together?"

he nodded into her shoulder, sobbing. "yeah, kind of... i mean."

the doctor slipped out of the door, and finn lifted his head up, sniffling.

"hey there. are you millie's friends? or family."

"friends." sadie said at the same time finn said, "family."

"well, which is it?" she asked.

"i'm her boyfriend." finn said strongly.

sadie smiled at him.

the doctor's eyes widened. "how long have you two been together?"

finn's smile faltered a little.

"why - what?"

the doctor gave him a sad smile and led him back to millie's room.

she was awake, to his relief.

"oh my god, millie thank god." finn raced to her, her eyes were wide as he took her hand.

"finn? uh, hi. where's - my family? oh! is noah here?" her wide eyes looked at him.

"n-noah? millie, they thought you'd want to see me first."

millie smiled at him. "oh. okay. i mean, you're a great friend. but i want to see my family if that's okay. thanks for checking on me."

finn stared at her, his mouth open a little.

"millie, what do you mean?"

"hey finn?" she didn't respond to his question. "how long - what happened to me? how long have i been here? did i- did i miss the premiere?" her eyes filled with tears.

finn's voice was shaky. "millie, what premiere?"
