millie sat alone in her room, her cheeks bright red and puffy, staring out the window at the pouring rain, wishing, more then anything, that she could be home.

she coughs a little, then sighs.

the door cracked open. "mills?" sadie's soft voice called out. "are you okay? i heard you coughing."

her red hair poked in, falling down the doorframe against her frowning face.

"i'm okay." millie said as sadie entered the room and held a hand to her head. "just not feeling very good."

"are you sure?" sadie looked worried.

"i'm having a worse time thinking about finn then i am with having a cough." millie said sadly, and sadie day next to her, rubbing her shoulder.

"you know, mills.." sadie started.

"sadie, if it's about finn, i don't really want to hear it. i'm mad at him right now." millie said, annoyance in her voice.

sadie looked flustered, and a little upset. she stood up quickly. "millie, you have no right to talk to me like that. or finn. he has been trying so hard to get things back to the way they used to be. he loves you, millie." sadie was angry, and millie gulped as she glared at her.

"sadie!" she started, angry that sadie was trying to persuade her.

"don't start with me, millie. you always treat me like i don't matter, and i'm not just your backup dancer. i'm your best friend. and you don't seem to treat me like that. you don't treat any of us right. all you do is cry and pretend that everything is wrong just for you. well, i have something to break to you millie, the world does NOT revolve around you."

millie swallowed back her anger and held back tears. "sadie-,"

"please stop interrupting me!" she shrieked, anger flowing through her. "you don't treat me right, or noah for god damn sakes, the poor kid has been trying to talk to you ever since you got your memory back, but you treat him like a rock in a dirt pile, and he's upset. but you don't seem to notice that. and of course, poor finn. he just wants you to be together, and he's trying so hard, but every single thing he does seems to piss you off. you need to suck up your tears and stop pretending that everything is wrong just for you. you might have gone through a lot this year, but we've all been through a lot year. it's not just you. how do you think we managed putting off other job opportunities to plan around you and your problems?"

millie sniffled as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"STOP IT!" sadie screamed, smashing a vase to the floor with her hand, tears streaming down her face as well. "you need to deal with what you've done. stop acting like a little kid and fix all your mistakes. i don't even know you anymore!"

she stumbled back and slammed the door behind her, and millie wiped tears off her face, sobbing as she collapsed on the bed.

the door didn't open again, not for hours, and millie coughed alone in the bedroom, the sickness growing inside her with every second that passed by.

"so, where are coming from?" ginny asked, picking up the kitchen while gaten sat perched at the table, nervously tapping his foot.

"well, we came from georgia, but it's because we're staying there, we're filming a tv show."

ginny raised an eyebrow. "you're actors?"

he smiled. "yeah. have you ever heard of it? our show is called stranger things."

she pursed her lips and shook her head. "no, haven't heard of it."

he laughed a little. "really?"

she nodded slightly.

"i thought maybe that would be the only reason you'd be talking to me," gaten said softly.

she shook her head, her smile fading away, her red hair falling across her face, the light bouncing off it.

gaten gulped as she moved a little closer. "i talked to you because you looked interesting. and i can feel our connection."

she leaned even closer, and gaten melted up as she pressed her lips against his. shock flew through him as sparks flew, he'd never like this before. they stayed there for a second and then she pulled back, a slight smile on her face.

"you felt that, didn't you?" she whispered, and all gaten could do was nod slightly, a grin sliding across his face as well.

caleb and noah headed to the gas station, grabbing snacks. they were hungry, after all.

"where is everybody?"caleb asked.

nobody seemed to be around in the small town, and the people who they did see looked depressed, or just really upset.

"i- don't know." noah glanced around, noticing the deserted gas station.

"i have a bad feeling about this place," caleb said with a frown.

"you can say that again." noah gulped as the two boys headed to pay.
