"a road trip?" millie asked in disbelief, excitement shining in her eyes.
"yeah!" finn exclaimed, laughing at her expression. "it'll be fun! just you and me!"
she smiled, pressing her lips against his. they pulled back, and she sighed. "okay."
finn grinned, rubbing their noses together. "it's gonna be great. i promise."
-
"no way!" finn exclaimed, as noah and sadie poked their heads out of the van they rented.
"i couldn't make them get out," millie said with a sigh.
"you can't just take our best friend away right after we got her back!" sadie yelled out the window.
"god, fine!" finn exclaimed in annoyance, and he could've sworn a small smile appeared on millie's face for a second.
they packed everything in the car, and we're getting ready to leave when gaten spotted them. "what the hell? you're going on a road trip without us? CALEB! WE'RE GOING ON A TRIP!"
everyone groaned as the two boys grabbed their bags and hopped in the car, and they were finally ready.
-
millie rested her head against the window, smiling as sadie and noah chatted loudly behind them. finn glanced over at her, a smile on his lips, watching millie as he drove, glancing back and forth from the road.
they didn't know where they were going, exactly. they brainstormed ideas.
"let's go hiking," gaten suggested.
sadie let out a groan. "oh, god, i hate being outside."
millie snorted in amusement. "oh, i saw your nike ads, sadie!"
sadie's cheeks turned red, and she shimmied down in her seat. "just because i'm in an ad doesn't mean i like physical activity."
they all laughed. caleb suggested going to a museum, and noah suggested the beach.
"what about the city?" finn said, and millie smiled at him. "oh, god. i would love to go into a big city."
they listened for a while, millie blabbering on about how she loved the huge buildings and the sights and all the people, finn looking at her every once in a while, a smile on his face.
this was bound to be one exciting road trip.
-
millie was tired, as she climbed into the hotel room bed. finn climbed in next to her, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her forehead softly.
they were sharing the single room, with the other four kids in the other room. they felt bad that they had invaded their trip, so they let them have some space.
"thank you," millie whispered, pressing their lips together, and finn rolled on top of her, kissing her passionately.
"you're welcome," he breathed, taking a break. "although this trip might not be what i planned, it'll still be good."
they kissed for a while, and finn's eyes narrowed as he moved down to her neck, sucking on her skin softly.
millie gasped lightly, pulling on finn's hair as his lips traveled up and down.
his lips attached back to hers after a whole, and he pinned her against the bed with his hips, kissing her fiercely.
millie held back a moan as his tongue slipped inside her mouth, making her stomach flip around and her legs feel like jelly.
his hands moved down her body, and rested at the edge of her shirt. his fingers twirled around it, and moved up, resting on her bare stomach.
she ripped up his shirt, running her hands over his chest, and whining a little as his hands traveled further up her stomach.
she breathed heavily, and they broke apart, millie gasping for air, her face bright red.
finn's eyes traveled back down to her stomach, her shirt was hiked up, and she followed his gaze, her face turning even redder.
"i'm sorry," finn said, climbing off of her, almost stumbling off the bed in an effort to not look at her.
"god, finn! don't be sorry!" millie grabbed his arm and pulled him back down, attaching their lips again, and pulling his hands back down to her stomach.
his hands brushed against it, making her stomach wiggle and her breathing quicken as they raised up her body.
did she really want this?
"stop," millie mumbled into the kiss, pushing him off, her whole body shaking, her cheeks redder then they'd ever been. "i'm sorry. i'm sorry..."
finn grabbed his shirt and pulled it back over his head, also bright red. "i'm sorry, millie. i- you're not ready for that. i get it."
"thank you," millie sighed, pulling her shirt down and patting the bed next to her,
he carefully slid next to her, and she leaned her head against him, her body still shaky from what just happened.
"millie, you can always tell me if you want me to stop," he said softly.
"thank you," she whispered, closing her eyes, and starting to calm down as her breathing evened out.
