Chapter 11- The coronation

Star was super nervous. Today is the day she will become queen. She has been thinking about this day her whole life and for it to actually be happening, it seems unreal. She knows that Tom and Luna will be there watching her and she knows that her mother and father will be there by her side. She still hasn't told them about her and Tom's engagement. She wants to but is afraid about how they will react. They seemed to react to the pregnancy pretty well, so marriage is just a piece of cake right? Star is putting on a white and blue dress that is foot length and has ruffles all the way down. She is putting her hair in a bun with two curls on each side hanging. She put on white flats that have rhinestones on them. She looks at herself once in the mirror before going down. She walks down the staircase and walks up to her parents. Queen Moon is there waiting and if you see closely enough; there is tears in her eyes. She can't believe her daughter is about to become queen. She has been preparing her for this moment ever since she was born. "Star Butterfly, will you rule over mewni with honor and loyalty?" Moon asked. "I will," Star replied. "Then it is my greatest honor that I crown you mewni's new queen!" Moon put the crown on Star's head. Star smiles up at her mom who is tearing up with happiness. After the crowning, there was a party. Tom walks over and observes. "Hello, Star- I mean Queen Star," Tom said playfully bowing. Star chuckles and says," Hopefully you won't treat me different."
Tom puts his finger on her chin and lifts her face up. They kiss. "I will treat you however you want me to treat you." Star smiles and says," I-I haven't told my parents about us getting married yet." "Well, lets tell them now!" Before Star could protest, Tom is dragging Star over to her parents.
"Oh hey Tom and Star," Moon said. "Hey mom, I-We wanted to tell you something." "Go on." Star takes a deep breath before saying," Tom and I are engaged." Moon a little shocked at first but, then smiles and says," I am so happy for you both."
