It has been a whole three years since Princess Luna was born and she is more beautiful than ever. She has Star's hair with purple high lights at the bottom to match Tom's. She has Star's eyes and a mix of her and Tom's skin. Star has really changed since she had Luna. She stopped goofing off and actually listened to her mother about things instead of just rolling her eyes. She also stopped fighting monsters with her dad which made him sad but, he understood. With a baby, she feels like she has to be one hundred percent alert; especially when you have a three year old running around the castle. In a few days will be Star's coronation. Star is excited but nervous too. She is going to be queen and this subject has been put aside but, Star feels she has to think about it now. Who is going to be her king. Her mom said she has time to think but, after she becomes queen she will have to pick someone to rule beside her. She knew the one person who would be the perfect candidate but, the question was, will he want to. She knows there is only one way to know and that is to ask.
Star walks into her bedroom to see Tom laying on the foot of her bed exhausted.
He looked over at Star and smiled,"Finally got her to take a nap," Tom told her. "That's great," said Star sitting down next to him. She started fiddling with her fingers and then blurted out," Will you be my king?" Tom was taken a back for a moment. She wanted him to be her king? Well, it did make sense, them having a baby in all. "It would be my honor," Tom told her smiling. She leaned in and shared a passionate kiss. They broke a part at the sound of their daughter crying. "I got this, you rest," Star told Tom kissing his cheek.
Once Tom saw that Star did indeed leave the room, he got his dimensional scissors and went out. He went to a jewelry store in his dimension. He wanted to get an engament ring for Star and he knew he had to pick the perfect one. He scaled all the shelves until a particular one caught his eye. It was a ring with a star, blood red moon and a crescent moon. He thought it was perfect because each symbol represented each of them. He payed for it along with a black, velvet box and went back home.
Star was still with their daughter probably reading a book. He put the ring in his pocket snf knew the perfect time to ask his question.Even though he knew she will say yes, he was nervous he would mess up the question. He knew he had to put those thoughts beyond him and just go for it. After dinner, Star and Tom were walking back to her room.
" I will see you tomorrow," Star told Tom giving him a kiss good bye. "Actually, I have something to ask you," he said nervously. "O..Kay," said Star.
"Star, there are no words for how much I love you and how much I love our daughter and this little family we created but, I do know one thing; I want it to last forever. We have had a lot of ups and downs but, we never left eachothers sides. So, Star butterfly-" Tom got down on one-knee. "Will you marry me?" Tom asked. Star couldn't contain her tears and smiled covering her mouth. "Yes!" she said. He smiled and slid the ring in her finger. He got up and the shared a passionate kiss happy to be engaged.
