Chapter 18: Visiting

When Luna woke up she found herself laying on the edge of her bed and then she looked to see who was in her arms. She smiled when she saw Marco in her arms. She rubs his soft brown hair as he started to stir. When he opened his eyes he looked blurringly around the room when his eyes laid on Luna. He smiled and pulled her closer not wanting to leave her arms. "Hey," Luna said softly. Marco kisses her head. "Hey." "Sleep well?" Luna asked. Marco nods. "You?" Luna nods smiling.

After a while of staying in each other's arms they get up and head downstairs for breakfast. They walk down hand in hand.  When they get to the kitchen the parents are putting breakfast on the table. When they see the kids they instantly see them holding hands and smile. "Aww, you guys are adorable! I always knew you guys would get together!" Mrs. Diaz said smiling. The couple blush smiling. They all sit down to eat breakfast. "So how is the baby project going?" Mr. Diaz asked. "Good, I think we are going to get an A," Luna said smiling.

After breakfast they were about to take their "baby" for a walk since it was the weekend when they heard the doorbell ring. When they opened it Luna gasped. "Mom?" Luna said confused. "Dad?" Her parents smile. "Hi sweetie!" Star waves excitedly. Luna smiles and hugs her tightly. "I've missed you mom," Luna said. She then looked over at her dad and smiled. "Hey dad!" Luna said pulling him into a hug. He hugs back smiling. "Hey baby girl!" he says smiling.

They break a part and go into the living room. Mr. and Mrs. Diaz come into the room and see the unexpected guests. "Who are you?" Mrs. Diaz asked curiously. "These are my parents," Luna introduced.
"I'm Star," Star said shaking both of the parents hands. "And I'm Tom." Tom did the same thing. They all sat down giving time to get to know each other and also for Luna and her parents to catch up.

"Sooooo," Star said excitedly grabbing both of Lung's hands. "How is Earth?" Luna smiles and says," Earth is great. Definitely not like Mewni. I made a lot of friends and I think I am adjusting great." She then looks at her parents. She is so glad she is getting to see them again.

"How's Mewni? Is the invasion over yet?" Star and Tom frown looking at each other. "Its as you left it," Star said sighing. "Toffee won't rest until he has the wand." Star's face then lights up with an idea to cheer everyone up. "I actually have some news I would like to share," Star says smiling. She looks over at Tom who shares the same smile and holds her hand. "What is it?" Luna says curiously. Star looks over at Tom smiling before she says," I'm pregnant!" Star exclaims. Luna is shocked. She is indeed happy for her mother and glad she will be having a sibling but then she is sad because she should be at Mewni supporting her mother.

Who knows how many visits her parents can have during the invasion. What if something happens and she isn't there to help. She does have a wand to help. But, she puts on a happy face and says," That's great!" Luna exclaimed hugging her mother.  Her father joins in and they share a family hug. "I've missed you guys so much!" Luna says hugging her parents tightly. "We missed you too," Star says smiling. "Don't worry," Tom said rubbing her back. "You will be able to come home soon." They break a part and smile at each other. Star then looks over at Marco and smiles. "And who's this?" "Oh, this is my boyfriend Marco," Luna says blushing.

" Hello," Marco says leaning his hand out for them to shake. Tom cuts in rather protectively and says," Hello." He puts a firm grip on his hand making him wince. "Listen here Marco, if you ever and I mean ever hurt my daughter, you will truly know my wrath," Tom said angrily. "Anyway," Star said giggling nervously, patting Tom's shoulder. She shakes Marco's hand nicer and says," It is very nice to meet you Marco and as my husband said but I will say it nicer," she said glaring at her husband. "If you hurt her you will hear a lecture from me." Marco nods nervously.

After a while of talking and catching up it was time for Star and Tom to leave. Luna gives them a tight hug. "Visit more," Luna says burying her head into her fathers chest. "We will," Tom said rubbing her back. Star gives her a tight hug rubbing her hair softly. "We love you, never forget that," Star says smiling. They break a part and Star and Tom smile at their daughter before going back into the carriage. She watches the driver use their dimensional scissors to open a portal to Mewni and the carriage going through it. She frowns a tear rolling down her cheek. Marco slips his hand into hers. "Don't worry." Marco wipes the tear making her smile. They hug, Marco rubbing her back comfortingly.

At night, when they all go to sleep, Luna sneakily gets dressed and gets her dimensional scissors out that she stole from her mother's office. She used them to go to different dimensions without her parents knowing. She thinks that now is a perfect time to use them. "Sorry mom and dad." She used them and made a portal to Mewni. "I need to stop this invasion once and for all." She takes out her wand and jumps through the portal.
