Samara's POV

It was nearly 6 pm when the view of the dock came into sight again. I had spent all day with Wicca, talking and laughing and we pretty much lost track of time together. I almost didn't want to leave, we still had 45 minutes back to downtown. When he pulled into a restaurant parking lot he must've read my mind.

"How'd you read my mind? I'm starving." I laughed.

"Good because this place is fancy" he winked.

"Wicca we don't have to-"

"I insist. We have time before the party tonight, and I want to take you out proper." He lit a cig as we exited the car, and handed me one.

"I've had a really good time with you today, not gonna lie, I was nervous."

"I had a good time too. I love just being in your presence. Your energy, it's- it's beautiful."  He grinned as he took a drag, chuckling at himself finding the words.

"Being here today has been amazing-" I hardly finished my sentence as I felt his lips on mine, moving in closer to me.

"Indeed it has." He pulled away softly, smiling right at me. I was speechless. But I pulled him back in, kissing back more. I dropped my cigarette and kicked it out under my feet. He did the same, bringing his arms up around me. My face in his hands, I felt his thumb press into my collarbone. We kissed for what felt like minutes, but probably wasn't that long.

"It really has." I mimicked him. He laughed and pulled me towards the door. The butterflies in my stomach fluttered anxiously. Wicca and I had kissed.

*A few hours later*

It was no secret that everyone knew Wicca and I had hung out all day. Horse jabbed Wicca in the ribs and winked at him, looking at me. I blushed a little but I couldn't expect much more from the guys. All of them seemed to be here, even ColdHart and døves, who I didn't see much of these days.

I left Wicca's side in search of Gus or Goth. And then there was Haylie, practically glued to Dex's side. I laughed a little, thinking about finding her and Tracy, shameless as fuck, shagging in the living room, I could've been Dex or someone else. She was lucky I didn't care enough to tell or to jeopardize anything. I heard someone familiar chuckled behind me, it was Gus.

"Dex is one daft motherfucker." He whispered.

"Shush!" I giggled, hitting him.

"How was your day with Wicca?" He pried, sounding almost excited.

"Honestly? So good, it was amazing. And um, we kissed."

"Whatttt? Oh my gosh girl, this is good. I am the fucking love guru." I hit him again.

"We are not in love, Gustav! You know me, I'm not doing relationships right now. But I had a really good day." I couldn't help but gush at the end.

Gus slicked his hair back all cool.

"I'm the fucking shit though, right? Right." He held up his fingers in a gun sign and blew on the end. I laughed at him, he was so silly sometimes.

"Bout time you hooligans got here!" Goth snuck up on us from behind and we nearly jumped.

"Where have you been, Luis?" Gus pulled him into a hug immediately. I saw relief flow over him. It had been 48 hours and no one had heard from Goth. Yet here he was, early to the party. I admire Gus calling him his real name (I didn't even know his real name) and he already handed Gus the double cup of what was clearly lean.

"Holed up in the apartment. Writing. You know. I was on a deep one, Peepers. I had to get away for a minute."

"You always text me, G, are you okay?" His voice lowered as he stepped in closer to him.
