As soon as you walked into the Bodega you were swept off your feet. Your eyes had screwed shut reflexively, though, when you did open them you found yourself in the friendly stranger's arms.

"What are you doing?" You asked as he ran you to the back room. You just glanced down as you and didn't reply. He set you down on the small sofa in the staff room.

"Stay here." He instructed before running back out to the store front. It was quiet for awhile so you carefully approached the door and slowly opened it as to not make too much noise. Speaking of noise, you could hear faint grunting from the front of the store.

Sneaking behind each isle, you found yourself just at the edge of one of the isles, just enough to peak around the corner to see T.K.O being restrained by the two employees. You gasped and ran out, pulling T.K.O away from the two.

"Hey! I told you to stay in the employee room!" The blue one growled.

"Get away from him! He's dangerous!" The girl with the purple hair shouted.

You looked to T.K.O. The whole day he was pretty much harmless- well...to you at least. He glared back at you. One again, the friendly employee ripped you away from T.K.O earning a growl. The girl grabbed T.K.O making him grunt.

"GET OFF ME ENID!" T.K.O spat, throwing a punch at "Enid". There was a puff of purple smoke as he threw the punch and in her place was a log. She appeared with another puff of smoke next to the both of you. T.K.O looked beyond angry.

"GET BACK HERE! I'LL TEACH YOU TO TREAT ME LIKE A POWERLESS CHILD!" He screamed, charging at all of you.

"Rad! Get out of here with the kid!" Enid ordered and she jumped out the way.

"I can't just leave you here to fight him alone!" "Rad" shouted back. Before Enid could respond, T.K.O finally landed a hit on her and she went flying through a wall. Rad set you down and ran to him only to be the next cause of another hole in the wall.

"Stop! Bring K.O back!" You shouted. T.K.O growled, lightning-like flecks of purple bursting from his fists.

"Would you shut up about K.O?!" He grumbled. You scowled at him before he twitched, almost looking like K.O for a moment.

"No! You're out of control!" You growled, crossing your arms. He scoffed, walking toward you.

"You think this is out of control? I'LL SHOW YOU OUT OF CONTROL!" He proclaimed with a loud laugh, throwing his fist toward you. You moved out of the way and his hand went through the wall, going wrist deep. He growled in frustration and tried to pull it out, yanking and huffing as he held onto his wrist and pulled.

Running out the store, you heard a crunch - T.K.O had gotten his hand out of the wall and was ready to make you his next target. You started to run faster, trying to get away from him as you heard his panting behind you. As you ran a purple burst of fire almost hit you, hitting a car you were near. You had only ran for a few more paces before The was a loud explosion behind you sending pieces of car flying toward you. Purple shadows were cast as the flames of the same colour consumed the car making you run faster. You had to find somewhere to hide soon before your legs gave up on you. You had almost reached the end of the parking lot when he had tackled you to the ground. He looked furious and you two wrestled on the ground before there was shouting.

"K.O what do you think you're doing?!"

T.K.O stopped and scowled at his mom who you had seen yesterday. He stormed over to her.

"Stay out of this mom!" He demanded, shoving her lightly. His cheeks were slightly red as his mom picked him up and ruffled his hair.

"Sorry about him. I think he's going through his phase again." She chuckled, helping you up with T.K.O in the other arm.

"It's not a phase!" He insisted crossing his arms. Rad and Enid came running out the store, a little bruised and covered in plaster dust.

"Is everyone okay?" Rad huffed, Enid taking a rest next to him. You nodded and so did K.O's mom.

"I just need to get this little guy home and figure out how to get him back to normal." She muttered, glancing down at T.K.O. She glanced over to you. "You don't look so good. I can give you a ride home if you want." She offered.

Looking down at your sore limbs, you realised it would probably take you awhile to get home because of how exhausted you were. Sure, you'd been taught to not get in cars with strangers but you could at least make one exception.

"Yes. Thank you." You smiled, still out of breath. With that, Rad and Enid went back to the Bodega and started repairs while K.O's mom led you to her car.

You gave her directions back to your house and you got home safely, K.O's mom coming out of the car for a bit to explain what happened. Eventually, you hit your bed and let the burning in your arms and legs fade, mind growing blank and eyes weighing shut.
