You were a loner.

At school, everyone saw you as the quiet one, normally because when you opened your mouth you were called loud or annoying. Because of this, you had no friends and a really low reputation.

So, when K.O told you he'd meet you at school the next day, you were overjoyed.

The feeling of giddiness you felt as you approached the school gates seemed way too foreign and almost wrong. You definitely stood out because of this - the only smiling face in an ocean of frowns. As soon as you walked in you were tackled with a hug.

"(Y/N)!"

Wrapping your arms around K.O back, you chuckled lightly at his behaviour. As he let go you met eyes with a girl with goggles on who returned the stare.

"(Y/n), Dendy. Dendy, (Y/n)." K.O greeted, glancing at both of you as you both greeted each other.

"Salutations." Dendy smiled, holding out a hand to you. You shook it as K.O watched on with a smile.

"Nice to meet you." You mumbled. You weren't sure if she was one of the people who hated it when you spoke, indicating your existence being too annoying through speech so you tested the waters and tried to be quiet.

Dendy noticed how closed off and shy you were, considering that you weren't one to pick fights you tended to keep a tight lip. K.O stared at you, slightly confused at your actions. Sure, you'd been quiet but you were never mute. A bell rang out abruptly sending all of you to class. You sat on the left side of the room by the back while K.O and Dendy sat on the far right. You felt all security and safety leave you as the gang of bullies all sat in their normal seats - every chair that surrounded you. Three chairs. Better than just them standing near you and being able to cause harm.

The teacher strode in, papers under her arm and her classic cold glare. Slamming her papers down on the desk, her eyes rolled around the room in disgust at all the students. With a sigh, she started the lesson and turned her back to the class, scribbling on the black board. All it took was a few minutes before you heard quiet mumbling from around you. Giggles ruptured from the girls and your eyes sunk to your page. There was always the slim chance they weren't talking about you.

"I know! (Y/n) is probably the fugliest in the school."

Apparently the odds were not in your favour today.

Kate, the ringleader, had piped up about your looks as always and her mindless dogs laughed along with her. This didn't effect you much. You had heard it enough times for it to be numb. Shooting a look at the teacher who was still not paying attention and was still writing on the board, another comment was made through the clusters of quiet giggles.

"I can't believe Cassy was her friend."

You froze. That one hadn't been used before. Of course, Maddie had spat that one out. You and Cassy used to be inseparable, considered sisters sometimes. Though, Kate wanted that kind of bond and hated seeing you with it. All it took to year you two apart was a fake username and some rude posts. She never looked at you the way she used to.

"Tch. Like I ever was."

You bit your bottom lip. This hurt a little. Especially coming from Cassy. Though, they never seemed to do what they were always planning to do; make you cry. It was the least you could do for yourself. More and more giggles were prominent in the small class to the point were the teacher had to settle them down.

Sheets were passed around the room demanding to be completed by the end of the lesson. As well as the sheets, folded secrets and jeers toward you were being passed around the room.
