Walking to your room seemed more difficult than before. Your stomach wouldn't settle, your palms were sweaty and you found yourself a little short of breath. There was no possible way there was going to be a good reaction for the new news your siblings probably passed on. Finally, your door came into view and you sighed. You knew you couldn't avoid your family forever but at least you could have some time to yourself to calm your nerves. Your vest was still on but it wasn't like it was a secret anymore so really, what was the point in hiding it? Gently opening your door, you exhaled deeply and pressed your back to the door, shutting your eyes and letting the silence engulf you.

"Hey sweetie."

Jumping, your eyes shot open and you held back a yelp. Sitting on the end of your bed was your dad, head resting on the palm of his hand and a soft smile on his face.

"D-Dad! What are you doing in my room?" You wheezed, quickly ripping off your vest. He laughed lightly.

"I know you're not stupid (y/n) - I mean, you are my little girl after all." He chuckled. You sighed.

"I-I didn't mean to...uh...I got bored and just-"

"Just what?" He cut you off. He seemed so unnaturally calm it was unnerving. "Got a job at the one place you know I hate."

This seemed a little more normal now. His arms where crossed and his face slightly red with rage. "With heroes no less! In a no hero family!"

"I'm sorry dad I-"
"Save it!" He snapped, sounding hurt. "Just hand over that stupid uniform."

"No way!" You hissed, holding it close to you.

"You little brat! Give me that silly vest!" He said, standing up. You threw open the door and skidded down the walkway. You could hear him distantly screech for the robots and you clenched your jaw. What a pain. There was the sudden thunderous roar of footsteps behind you and you glanced back only to see Raymond and Shannon.

"C'mon (y/n) slow down!" Shannon whined. You rolled your eyes and continued to sprint away. Suddenly the feeling of weightlessness overtook as a pair of red arms gripped you and swept you off of your feet.

"Darrel!" You growled. He giggled in response, so naturally, you punched him in the face as a response. He instantly went to hold his nose and you went crashing back down to the floor. Shannon caught you and sprinted back to Boxman as your threw punches, kicked and thrashed around. You started to tire out and held the vest to your chest only to have it gently tugged away from you.

"See. Was that so hard to do?" You dad muttered.
"Speak for yourself." Shannon wheezed.

Shannon gently handed you over to Boxman and you growled cusses and insults under your breath as you tried to reach for his back pocket to where the vest hung out of. Eventually you got to his office and he sat you down at the opposite end of the desk.

"Do you know why I've carried you here?" He sighed. You groaned.

"No. No I don't." You muttered bitterly.
"It's because we need to set some new ground rules." He sighed. You rolled your eyes and rested your head on the desk.
"Hey don't give me that look!" He whined. "I just want what's best for you! And what's best for you, is no Gar or Heroes or silly little friends."

He almost gagged at the word and you just deadpanned him as he went on about how disgusting it is before he composed himself again.

"Anyway, that's the first rule. No more friendship with heroes." He declared. You nodded- obviously you weren't going to follow the new rules but you weren't going to let him know that.

"The second rule is no plaza! That place is crawling with friends and heroes and- ugh I can't even say it!" He shuddered. You nodded absentmindedly again.

"And the final rule is you have to be evil from now on- just like your old man!" He beamed, crossing his arms. You sighed.
"Yeah ok." You shrugged.

"Great! Goodnight (y/n)." He smiled pushing you out of his office.

Walking back to your room you could feel eyes on you. You sighed, looking around you with a small smile.

"I know it's one of you. C'mon just show yourself." You called out. There was a few light metallic taps before Raymond landed in front of you.

"Hello darling little sister! I wanted to check up on you to see how you were after our little randevu earlier." He explained, walking with you. "How are you though?"

"Fine." You muttered. You weren't fine but you weren't terrible either. Raymond seemed to catch on and sighed.

"I'm sorry but have those punks at the plaza given you any trouble? Darrel won't stop mentioning the plaza and I will not hesitate to show them who's sister they're messing with." He commented. You laughed lightly.

"No,no. Just tell Darrel to shut up." You laughed as you got to your room.

With a smile and a nod he turned on his heel. "Well I'll bid you adieu."

He walked off as you went into your bedroom. The walls were missing their posters of heroes though to your relief your pow cards were still safely tucked away in the drawer. Yawning, you got into bed and pulled the covers over your head.

K.O couldn't get much sleep. All he could think about was if he would see you tomorrow. He never would've guessed buttman was your dad...he was just so ugly and evil and you were so...

He squeezed a pillow over his face as his cheeks grew hot. No way! He'd didn't think you were cute did he?! He threw the pillow down to his chest and stared at the ceiling. With a sigh he let his eyes close. Even if he did like you, what was the chance you were going to like T.K.O? He was apart of him too.

"Tch. Whatever. It's not like I like her back." T.K.O grumbled.

"Y-You don't?" He asked quietly to his alter ego.

"Ha! No! She's way too weak and nice for me." He chuckled. K.O bit his bottom lip in despair.

"Not even a little?"

T.K.O fell silent and K.O rolled over to face the wall, catching a glimpse of the clock as he did. It was getting almost too late for sleep and he had work tomorrow. Which meant he had to get up to see you at work tomorrow. He shut his eyes and smiled, determination shutting down any negative thoughts. He was sure you'd show up the next day.
