Ross' POV
"Flight to New York now boarding." We heard over the intercom.
"Here goes." I mumbled to myself.
We got onto our assigned seats. I fell asleep not long after we took off. I had been up all night in anticipation of this flight and getting closer to finding Courtney.
I woke up to a flight attendant shaking my arm lightly.
"You need to fasten your seat belt now sir." She said nicely.
"Thanks." I said while flashing her a smile.
I put on my seat belt and we started landing. As soon as I was able to I ran out the plane. I got my luggage while Rydel and Sabrina ran up to me.
"Geez Ross, slow down!" Sabrina said while trying to catch her breath.
I looked back at the gate where our plane was. I hadnt even realized how far I had just run.
"I don't really know who this Courtney is, but I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and say that Rossy has a crush." Sabrina said once she had caught her breathe.
"That's what I said!" Rydel said still out of breathe.
I just ignored them and went outside to hail a taxi. As soon as I got one we huddled in and I gave the driver directions to the hotel that we decided to stay at.
"Remember Ross, don't draw to much attention to us. We don't want fans crowding us everywhere we go."
"I know. We have a mission, and we will complete that mission!" I said while puffing out my chest and raising my fist triumphantly.
I got a snicker from Sabrina and Rydel while the driver gave me a weird look through the mirror. I gave him a bit of a smile while I sank back in the seat.
We got to the hotel and Rydel paid the driver. We went to check in, got our room key and went up to our room. Our room number was 312.
"I get the separate room!" I said while running in.
I had taken Rydel's phone earlier without her noticing and I felt it buzz in my pocket.
"Who's Tyson?" I asked with one eyebrow raised.
"Ross! Why do you have my phone? Give it here!" she said while reaching for it.
She snagged it out of my hands and read the text. She let out a little giggle as she replied and I was starting to get even more curious, if that's possible.
Courtney's POV
I woke up with a start. I still had the nightmare, but this time I didn't wake up screaming. I think that's a good thing, but I don't like that I'm still having the nightmare. I wish that it would just go away!
I still hadn't told Brook what my nightmare is about. Maybe later is what I always tell myself.
I grabbed my phone and realized that I had a whole bunch of texts and missed calls. I hadn't been on my phone since I sent that text to a few people. They were all from Ross, Rydel and James. I started getting scared as soon as soon as I saw those names up there. I know that there is really only one person there to be scared of, but the mind is a strange place.
I decided not to look at the texts and left them unread. I would look at them later, if I ever gather the courage.
