Courtney's POV

I was in the hospital for the rest of the night. Nurses came in and out throughout the night to check up on me.

Needless to say I didn't get very much sleep. I had to stay in the hospital the rest of the following day because they needed to monitor me and change my bandages.

Finally, at 9 o'clock, I was allowed to leave.

"You ready to go home?" Ross asked.

He hadn't left my side since I'd woken up.

"I'm so ready. I hate hospitals!"

The ride home wasn't overly exciting. Ross just asked me about 100 times if I was ok, but man, is he cute when he is worried.

Ross' POV

I was so relieved when the doctors said Courtney was ok. I just couldn't stop worrying about her. I was probably annoying her on the way back home, but I felt like I just needed to keep on asking her.

After about a ten minute drive, we were back. Everyone inside was waiting for us to walk through the door.

Courtney's POV

When I opened the front door, everybody was waiting for me. I jumped when I saw the people. There were balloons everywhere. Ratliff even had a big blue monkey stuffed animal for me.

"Court, I'm so glad your ok!"

"I'm so sorry you got hurt."

"Guys, it's ok. I'm fine." I said chuckling to myself.

"Is there anything we can do to help?" Riker asked.

"All I really want right now, is just to go and sleep without any nurses or annoying beeping sounds keeping me up." I replied letting out a yawn.

As soon as The words came out of my mouth, Ross picked me up bridal style and started carrying me to my room.

"I can walk you know," I said half asleep.

This wasn't entirely true. I could walk, but with a limp and it hurt.

"I know, but this way is more fun."

Ross' POV

As I carried Court to her room, she practically fell asleep in my arms.

"Can you stay with me for a bit?" Courtney asked as I put her on the bed.

"Anything for you" I climbed in beside her.

Almost instantly she put her head and hands on my stomach.

"Can you sing for me?"

"Of course."

I started singing What Do I Have To Do to her. Before I got to the chorus, Courtney had already fallen asleep. She must be really tired considering it's only 10 o'clock. I chuckled to myself.

As I pulled out my phone from my pocket, Ratliff knocked lightly and came in.

"Hey dude. How is she?"

"She'll be fine. The doctors said she could take the bandage off in a week. She's just overly tired right now."

He got the hint and went back to the others so that she could sleep. I moved her hair away from her face and kissed her forehead.

"Sweet dreams princess."

She cuddled closer to me and I slowly fell asleep with her.

Courtney's POV

I woke up with my leg throbbing. I slowly left Ross's grip, sat up and rolled my pant leg up to the bandage. It looked fine, but hurt like hell. I nudged Ross.

"Five more minutes," he moaned.

I nudged him harder.

His eyes fluttered open and then looked at my face.

"What's wrong?" he asked in his morning voice.

"I need ice, like, right now," I muttered.

He nodded and climbed out of bed. He ran downstairs to get me an ice pack. I cradled my leg trying to stop the pain. He burst back into the room with the icepack, some pain killers and a glass of water.

He gently placed the icepack on the bandages where it was hurting. He placed two pills in the palm of my hand and handed my the water. I downed the pills and he sat down next to me.

"You ok now?" he asked.

"Should be. Thanks."

He nodded and kissed my cheek.

"What was that for?" I asked smiling.

"I don't know. It just felt right," he replied grinning.

I nuzzled my head in the crook of his neck and he wrapped his arms around my body. We stayed like that until Riker came bursting in the door at 9:13.

Hey it's Suzy! Sorry for the wait for this chapter. It was my first time so I hoped you didn't hate it.

Ok, thanx to suzy for writing that. I went over and edited it and did the ending, but other than that it was all her.
