Courtney's POV

"I'm so excited for tonight!" Rydel said.

"You keep saying that, why won't you tell me where you guys are taking us?" I asked.

She had apparently told Ross of the plans her and Tyson had made the other day. I was still out of the loop.

"Because it's a surprise! We need to start getting ready though. Go get showered and I'll pick out some clothes for you."

I sighed and nodded. She smiled and ran to her bathroom while I went to the one upstairs. I lathered my hair and washed my body. When I finished I dried myself, put on a housecoat and blow dried my hair. There was a knock on my door and Rydel walked in. She went straight to my closet and riffled through my clothes.

"How come I've never seen this top?" Rydel asked.

I shrugged while brushing my hair.

"Well, it looks cute," she said and put it on my bed.

She took out a few others and placed them beside. I picked the first one she had placed down and then she went to find some pants. After some decision making and Rydel talking to herself, I had my outfit, including shoes.

"I'm going to go finish getting ready. Ross is downstairs right now. You finish in here and I'll be back up when I'm done."

"Ok," I replied.

-

"You look beautiful," Ross said as I got to the bottom of the stairs.

He was wearing a plaid shirt and jeans. In other words, he looked cute.

"Thanks," I said.

We followed Tyson and Rydel out and into our two separate vehicles. We followed them to the date. We pulled into a bowling alley parking lot.

"Let's go!" Ross said.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and followed him out. We walked in with Rydel and Tyson.

"Game for four," Tyson said to the guy at the front.

His name tag read Dawson.

"Ok, shoe sizes?"

Ross nudged me forward.

"Seven," I said.

He took out a pair of size sevens. I went over to a chair to put them on. I laced them up and waited for the others to be ready.

"We're in lane six," Tyson said wrapping his arm around Rydel's waist.

We walked over to the lane and sat down on the chairs. Ross clicked the button to start the game.

"Courtney, you're first," Tyson said.

I stood up and took the ball in my hand.

"I haven't bowled in a long time, but here goes," I said.

I brought my arm back and let the ball go as it leveled with the ground. It rolled across the middle of the lane until it knocked over the head pins causing the other pin to topple over.

"Woo!" I cheered.

"But you just said that you haven't bowled in a long time," Tyson said.

I just shrugged and sat up as Ross took his turn.

-

"Courtney, since you won, you can pick where we go to eat," Rydel announced.

"Oo. Ok, I'm gonna say Montana's."
