Ross' POV
As soon as I got up I had a shower. I went downstairs and saw no one up. I sighed and opened the fridge to look for something to eat. I turned around and jumped as everybody leaped out.
"Happy birthday!" they yelled.
They set down a tray with pancakes and strawberries and a glass of orange juice. They all gathered me in a hug as I muttered my thanks.
"Gosh guys, thanks."
Courtney sat beside me at the island and kissed my cheek.
"Happy birthday Ross."
"Why thank you."
She stole a strawberry and popped it in her mouth. Rydel put pancakes on plates for everyone and they all grabbed one. I drizzled syrup over my pancakes until they were drenched.

Courtney's POV
Ross greeted all the guests as they made their way outside. Some people had jumped in the pool while a few others chatted on the side. Just then Sabrina walked out.
"Hey," she said walking towards me.
I just plopped down by the pool, dipping my bare feet in.
"Look, Courtney, I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have acted how I did. Can we still be friends?" she stuck her hand out.
I looked her in the eye, seeing if she was sincere. I shook her hand and she sat down next to me.
"Tyler says hi by the way," I said and looked to see her reaction.
"Oh," was all she could muster.
"Courtney!" I heard someone shout.
"I gotta go," I said standing up.
She nodded and I walked toward where I heard the shout.
"Courtney!" Raini and Laura squealed as they engulfed me in a hug.
"Hey guys," I laughed.
"We haven't seen you in forever!" Laura said.
"I know!"
"We need to go find Delly, but we'll talk to you before we leave."
I nodded smiling as they left to find Rydel. Someone came up behind me and wrapped their arms around. I could tell it was Ross by the scent.
"Looks like everyone is here," he said.
"Yeah, let's go mingle," I said dragging him to all the people.

"That's the last of it," Rocky said as he brought in a plate of food.
"I'm still surprised they all left so early," Ryland muttered.
"Yeah, I thought that they'd stay way later. I mean, it's only 11:00 yet," Riker said.
We all just shrugged and Rydel dragged Ross and I to a separate room.
"Date plans are all set for the 3rd. Tyson said that he will pick us all up and bring us to the restaurant," Rydel whispered.
We nodded and then walked back to the living room with the others.
"I'm gonna go to bed already. Night all," I said.
"Night," they replied.
I went up to my room and changed into some pjs. Then I crawled under the covers and slowly fell asleep.
