Courtney's POV
I woke up and my head started throbbing like crazy. I tried to bring my hand up to my head, but it was tied down to the chair I was sitting on. So were my legs. I looked around a bit and saw Sabrina on a chair a couple meters away from me.
"Sabrina!" I whisper yelled.
She slowly lifted her head and looked at me.
"What happened?" she asked.
"I have no idea." I replied.
Right then the door to the room that we were in opened.
"Well look at who's awake."
I couldn't tell who it was because he was in the dark.
"Who's the other one?" a second voice said.
"I don't know. She just happened to be with Courtney at the wrong time and I couldn't just let her run off telling everyone what had happened, now could I?" the first voice said while stepping into the light.
I felt myself stiffen at the sight of James. After that the second voice came out and it was Tyler.
James and Tyler played football together back in school. They were the most popular guys there.
"So, Courtney, who is your friend?" he asked.
"Morgan." I said bluntly.
Sabrina gave me a weird look and I gave her one back that said 'go along with it'.
"Well. Tyler here is going to untie you guys. And you shouldn't even bother trying to escape. There aren't any windows and the door is locked constantly. Have fun!"
With that they both left and we went over to a bed in the corner of the room.
"Who was that?"
"It's kinda a long story." I said.
"Well, we probably have time." Sabrina replied.
"Ok, so James is my ex-boyfriend. We started dating first year of middle school. When we had started dating I thought that he was the sweetest and most romantic guy in the world. It stayed like that until about our junior year. Then he started slapping me. I thought that it was just stress from football. He always apologized in the next five hours. I kind of just let it slide. Then, at the start of our senior year he started full on beating me. I only stayed with him for the rest of the year because he always apologized and was the sweet guy that I had fallen for after. Then one day he hurt me so bad that I wound up in the hospital. That day I decided that I needed to break up with him. I broke up with him in a restaurant so that if he did hurt me there would be other people around. After that since I was out of high school anyways, I moved so that he couldn't find me. The house that i'm currently staying in is actually my cousins house, their in Germany for the year. Then, not to long ago, back in L.A., he found me and started beating me. Luckily we were in someones front yard and they helped me. I just wish that he could help me now," I muttered the last part to myself.
Sabrina pulled me into a hug and I cried.
"Phone," Sabrina stated quietly pulling out of the hug.
"What?" I asked drying my tears.
"Phone!" she said a bit more excited.
She pulled her phone out of her bra. I looked in my pocket where my phone had been, but it wasn't there.
"Rocky!" she said into her phone.
Rocky's POV
"Rocky!" Sabrina said into the phone.
I could tell that she was on the verge of tears. I put my phone on speaker so that Rydel and Ross could also listen.
"Sabrina! Holy shit we have been so worried about you! Where are you!"
"I have no idea where we are. All I know is that Courtney's ex, James, took us."
"Shit!" Ross said under his breath.
"Guys! I'm getting freaked out, please get us out of here!" she said while crying a bit.
With that the line went dead.
"Ross, who is this James?" I questioned.
He explained to me what Courtney had told him.
"Ok, so we probably shouldn't call Sabrina. We should just wait for her to call us. Is there any way that we could track the call or something?" I asked.
"Mmm! I have the find my buddy app on my phone and Sabrina's phone is on there! Let's use that!" Rydel said with a bit of a squeal.
Courtney's POV
"Courtney! tell your stupid friend Ross to shut up! He won't stop texting your phone or calling it," James said while stomping into the room.
"And if you say anything about what is happening, you will regret it!" he said through gritted teeth.
I got scared fast because I know what he is capable of.
I held the phone to my ear has I called Ross.
"Courtney! Thank God you answered! Where are you! Are you ok?"
"I'm fine. I can't talk long. You can kick his ass now by the way. Just know that I miss you too. Bye," I said hanging up.
Ross' POV
"Time to kick somebody's ass," I said while putting my phone down and standing up.
"Where are you going?" Rydel asked.
I ignored her and walked out of the hotel. I got into the rental car and drove to the instructions that Sabrina had given me.
"Hello?" a woman asked as she opened the door.
"Hey, I'm Ross." I said putting out my hand.
She took it and shook it.
"Brooke," she replied.
"I'm here to ask about Courtney," I said.
"Do you know where she is? I've been trying to get a hold of her all day and she hasn't been replying! I'm getting so worried!" she said as she let me into the house.
"All I know is that James took her." I said.
She got a look of shock on her face.
"He is nothing but trouble and I knew it from the beginning!" she stated.
