Introductions to the characters

y/n: You are a bubbly young woman who just turned 20. After the summer break, you will go back to do your second year of studying psychology. You sing. Your voice is actually pretty great, but you are too shy to become an idol. Moreover, your mental health problems keeps getting in your way.

In this story, you have a panic disorder. This means you experience seemingly out-of-the-blue panic attacks, and your live is pretty much preoccupied with the fear of a recurring attack. Fortunately, you have medication that reduces the amount of attacks and your fear of a recurring one. This causes you to be able to live a pretty normal live. You do still have some attacks, though. They mostly occur when you get stressed or exhausted. Some still randomly occur, like when you're sleeping at night you sometimes wake up,  covered in sweat and breathing heavily. Luckily, your step-brothers are a great help and support you at all times.

YOUR FAMILY:

Baekhyeon: He is your oldest step brother at an age of 24 years young (as he likes to say himself). He is very protective of you and your brothers and will do anything to see you happy. He can sometimes be a bit grumpy when you are being his annoying little siblings, but he loves you anyways. 'Baeki' annoys you as well. Sometimes he checks if you had your medicines, which is just his way of making sure you're alright.

Byung-ho: The second oldest is 21 and your safe haven. You both make music, and play guitar or ukulele together. His vocal range is smaller than yours but you still sing duets with him. He also loves hearing you sing and loves accompanying you on guitar. The two of you have a morning-tradition of singing together. Next to being a soft, happy sunbeam, he is also funny and you call each other 'hoe' all the time.

Chang-Min: The third in line is a 20-year-old goofball. He is literally your sunbeam in the house. You mostly joke around together and he steals your stuff, resulting in you two running around, fighting (playfully) and jumping on each other's backs. He has a serious side though, just like your oldest brother he is protective of you and your youngest brother. He also enjoys using bad pick-up lines on you.

Yeon-Jin: Jinnie is your 19 year old dork. He is a goofball and makes you laugh because of his silliness. He is really cute and does a lot of a aegyo. He is a great cook but also really clumsy so when he cooks there is always one of you in the kitchen helping him. He often has difficulty being serious when he needs to be, so he either tries to crack jokes or he just doesn't know what to do and stays silent. You still love him, though.

Your parents: Your biological mother passed away when you were really young, so you don't remember much from her. Your father married your step mom when you were 16. This was her second marriage too and she brought you four brothers. Your parents are both really kind people and are the perfect couple. Your father is wise and honest and your step mother – who you just call 'mom' (which she loves) – is the kindest woman you will ever meet.

Also; your step brothers biological father: He hasn't been in the picture in forever. An alcoholic and crack addict who abused your step mother when your step brothers were really young. In this story he will not physically occur, he will only be referenced to.

MONSTA X:

Shownu: He is tough-looking on the outside and may not talk much at first. Once you get to know him he's all fluff, he does not attac but he protec. He is the human equivalent of a teddybear.

Wonho: He may seem like your typical playboy, but he really isn't. He is very sensitive and emotional, really cute, and has the tendency to get jealous: actually just a small child in the body of a jock (a jock with very nice muscles).

Kihyun: He's small, but he's not cute. He knows when to defend himself, he's a little savage. He can cook really well, even Gordon Ramsay is afraid of him. He has the visuals of a god. People call him a hamster but he thinks he's a shark.

Minhyuk: He is THE sunshine. His smile is brighter than your future. He's secretly a dolphin: hyper 25/8, it makes people think he's on drugs but it's just his personality. He wants people to think he's sexy, but he really is a fluff.

Hyungwon: What a grumpy teenager. He sleeps more than he's awake, his existence is a meme. He's another savage, often in little fights with Kihyun (but it's all love deep down). He enjoys others company more than he'd like to admit. He lives for coffee.

Jooheon: He looks very intimidating and has this juvenile aura. Just talk to him once and you'll know that he's the opposite: he's the purest bean you'll ever meet. He's really cute, his heart is so big. He's basically a friendly giant.

I.M: He is a f*cking weirdo. Seriously, you can never guess what he's going to do next, his thought process is on another level. He's a real dork, kinda shy but once he gets comfortable he doesn't hold back. He's the memiest next to Hyungwon.
