Chapter 3: Warm Water

MINHYUK'S POV

After a good night sleep, all Monsta X hyungs wake up. We dress ourselves, fix our hair a bit and brush our teeth. We wait for each other to then walk down, hoping to get some breakfast from our friends. They also said that their sister was coming today, so we are all really excited to meet her. While walking on the first floor, where their rooms are, we hear someone singing and a guitar being played. We look at each other and silently walk downstairs, finding the brothers and a girl – who probably is their sister. She is thin and cute, and woah; she sings really well. We don't want to scare her, so we just watch as she and Byung-Ho sing a song. When they finish, we all applaud and cheer. She quickly turns towards us. I laugh at her, and when she sees us all smiling, her tense shoulders relax and she waves at us, chuckling softly. Jooheon and I step forward. "You sing really well!" He tells her. She immediately starts blushing and looks down. She tugs some hair behind her ear. "Thank you..." She says softly. "My name is y/n, nice to meet you." She looks at us again. Her face turns into a slight frown, as she seems to recognize us. "We are Monsta X, you might have heard of us." Wonho says. She smiles and nods. "I've heard about you, yeah. I don't mean to be rude, but what are you doing here?" I chuckle, making her blush even more. God, she is cute. "We are staying here for the summer. Just taking a break from our busy schedules and enjoying the summer with our friends-" I point towards her brothers. She turns around and sees her brothers nodding and grinning. "Yah, you didn't tell me!" She flicks Chang-Min's arm. He laughs and hits her stomach playfully. "We were about to tell you, little miss impatient." "Yah, we are the same age, idiot." We watch them bicker, as Wonho steps forward, beaming at her. "Nice to meet you, I'm Wonho." She smiles and they hug shortly. After him, Jooheon and I introduce ourselves and she beams at us. Her smile is really beautiful... No, Minhyuk, stop it. You can't fall in love with her, you just met her.

AUTHOR POV

The boys all introduce themselves to you and you answer everyone the same; a smile and a 'nice to meet you'. Afterwards you all sit down in the living room with coffee and chat away. The boys seem really nice to you and you are happy to have new friends. However, you feel something creeping up.

YOUR POV

It should be nice, right? Having new friends this summer, hanging around. But it was all so much at once. I felt weak and afraid. A wave of fear rushed over me and I felt my heart pounding in my throat. Pains were shooting around in my chest. I put down my mug, excused myself and went to the bathroom.
