Chapter 6: WHALE

YOUR POV

Everyone is bringing in ideas for our evening program. "After dinner, we could go to the movies! I heard there is a great action movie playing right now!" Jooheon says, jumping up and down on the couch. Shownu has his cute eye-smile one, trying to hold the younger down a bit. "That sounds great!" Kihyun implies, the others nodding in approval. "Okay, then it's set. After dinner we can go to the movies! You should dress up, y/n." Wonho winks and smiles at you. You were just walking past him to go to Byung-Ho, so on the way you turn around and give him a playful punch. "Sure, why not. It's not every day that I have the chance to go out with my brothers and friends." Wonho stands up and hugs me, lifting me up of the ground for a second, which in turn makes me shriek and slap his back.

AUTHOR POV

"Y/n-noona, may I help you pick out your outfit?" Wonho asks. He honestly looks like a little kid now who is begging for candy. He pouts, making you laugh at him. "Sure!" He stays in his place when you turn towards your older brother. "Hoe, can you play a song for me before dinner?" He immediately starts smiling and walks towards the corner his guitar is placed. You sit down on the couch, now with only him and Wonho in the living room. "May I join you guys?" Wonho asks. You smile at him and nod. "Yes, please." Byung-Ho sits next to you and places his fingers on the strings. You rest your chin on his shoulder and he starts playing. Wonho's voice starts singing, a harmonious sound filling the room. Byung-Ho joins in at the second verse, both boys singing the song together. Their voices fit well together. You close your eyes and smile at the sound of the melody that's filling your ears. Your brother always does this when you're stressed. He takes you away from your problems for a while, making you calm.

When they're done, Byung-Ho hits the strings one last time, hard, all three of you chuckling at his spontaneous humor.

KIHYUN'S POV

When Minhyuk and I finish dinner, I walk to the living room, to find Wonho, Byung-Ho and y/n in a peaceful state. Y/n looks so calm now, no wonder Baekhyeon called Byung-Ho her safe haven. For a second I worry about Wonho being there as well, what if she gets the wrong impression?What if he makes her fall in love, or worse; break her heart? He isn't a heartbreaker, but all of us know that it's difficult to be in a relationship with an idol, and we don't want to put more weight on y/n's shoulders. However, the way they look at each other... It's just like a brother and sister. The thought makes me smile. "Is dinner ready?" Byung-Ho asks me. I snap out of my gaze and smile. "Yes!" I walk over to y/n and take her hand. "Let's get some meat on your bones, hon." She smiles and we walk to the dinner table, where the rest is already sitting. "Let's eat, I'm starving!!" Hyungwon whines. We all chuckle at him and fill our plates.
