Double Date

Anna has just about finished her work for the day. She was fairly surprised when she saw Robert approach her after their conversation this morning. 

"I thought about it." He plainly said.

"Thought about the date?" Anna tried to clarify.

"Yes. I will go on one date with this woman and if there is one point in the night I am not having fun I am not going again unless for some reason she really infatuates me, okay?" Robert explains and Anna smiles in excitement. 

"Yes! That is absolutely fine! Thank you, Robert!" She exclaims, hugging him. He is shocked, and eventually wraps his arms around her petite body. 

"Don't mention it." He says softly, kissing the top of her head before they pull away from each other. "So.. What's this 'Nicole' figure like?" Robert asks, putting his satchel on his shoulder and grabbing his car keys. 

"You'll find out a lot about her on the date." Anna says, she doesn't want to tell him much in case he changes his mind.

"You can't tell me anything about her besides her name?" 

"Nope, you'll find out. If it will put you more at ease I can make it a double date for tomorrow night?" Robert furrows his brows.

"Double date?" 

"Yeah. You and Nicole along with me and Nathan. Unless that would bother you, I just thought it might beat going out with a stranger alone-" Robert cuts her off.

"No, a double date would be okay with me. I think I could make small talk easier with familiar faces around..." They both walk onto the elevator together.

"Great! Meet us at The Standard at 6:30 tomorrow evening. Wear nice clothes, not that that's ever an issue for you." She pauses for a second. "Do you even own a pair of jeans besides the ones you wore in Texas?" She jokes.

"Yes, I just never wear jeans to work because I am a CEO. When I'm home I wear comfy clothes, trust me." Anna chuckles. The elevator dings and they both head out the huge building. 

"Well, then I'll see you tomorrow, Mr. Downey." Anna farewells. 

"Have a good evening, Ms. Kent." Robert smirks, getting in his car and driving home, knowing this date wont be so bad with his love around.

Anna and Nathan pulled into The Standard parking lot, already spotting Robert sitting inside waiting for a table. 

Nathan was wearing a white t-shirt under a black blazer with grey dress pants on, Anna was wearing a knee-length black dress, with a zipper in the front ending at the bottom of her chest and the lower half of her dress was a mesh material. 

They walked in and met Robert before being seated. Now they were only waiting on Nicole. Robert was wearing a blue and white checkered shirt under a grey blazer, with light brown pants and a deep purple tie. Anna couldn't help but think that he looked absolutely delicious. 

"So, where's that friend of yours, Anna?" Robert asked after a short conversation with Nathan.

"Uh, she should be-" Anna got cut off. 

"I am so sorry I'm late! The way I had to come had bad traffic..." Nicole apologizes, sitting down next to Anna, across from Nathan. Anna was across from Robert now. 

Nicole runs a hand through her hair quick, before giving Robert a smile. "Hello, I'm Nicole. You must be Robert." Nicole says, sticking her hand out for Robert to shake.
