Pale sunlight streams in through the window while soft snores sound from beside me. I smile as I twist myself out of tangle of strong arms and soft sheets. I tiptoe towards the closet, careful not to disturb Jason, then make my way towards the bathroom. Setting my cloths on the sink counter, I turn to the mirror. I look myself over, nearly laughing at my goofy expression.

Strands of my hair are strewn in various directions, my sky blue eyes are clouded with sleep, and whatever makeup that remained on my face was now smeared around, but the one thing that sticks out the most is the massive smile I've been wearing for the past twelve hours.

I laugh at my reflection while shaking my head. I reach a washcloth, wetting it and removing the traces of makeup, them move on to my messy hair. I pull the remaining locks out of the hairband before brushing them out and throwing them over my shoulder. I reach for the door, pushing it shut, then begin to fiddle with the shower settings.

I exit the shower, hugging the warm towel close. I pull on my uniform, smoothing it over multiple time, making sure it is without imperfection. I quickly paint on my makeup, then pull my hair back in a ponytail.

A knock rings through the bathroom followed by a voice. "Lucy?" Jason ask.

I collect my stray belongings and open the door, instantly meeting a shirtless Jason Todd. I raise my head towards his smirking face, and my smile broadens. We stand for a minute and stare, both of us still in awe of last night.

"Good morning, love." Jason leans down, making his lips meet mine. His hands move to frame my face.

"Good morning." I reply sweetly, pushing past him and heading back towards the closet.

I fold my pajamas, placing them on a closet shelf, then I grab my knee-highs and combat boots.

"And what does the beautiful Lucy Quinn have planned for today?" Jason ask, appearing the doorway.

I raise a amused eyebrow. "Todayshe has school. Although, she wishes she could spend the whole day with the man of her dreams." I say, tying the laces on my boot.

I walk towards Jason, wrapping my arms around his torso and propping my chin up on his chest. I look lovingly into his eyes. He gives my lips another quick peck.

"I was thinking. I know last night you talked about graduating high school and picking a college and a major, but what if you didn't have to." I blink my eyes in confusion. "This is a suggestion, but you could always drop out and continue your education online. That's what a lot of us did. Again, you don't have to, but I advise it."

"Why?" I question.

Jason shrugs. "You're about to enter a shit storm. Once the press catches wind of our engagement, they will not leave us alone, you most of all. The press only knows you exist, and they're beginning to doubt that. But once they meet you and find out about our impending marriage, they're going to want to know everything."

I bite my lip and nod, turning the situation over in my head. I know Jason is looking after me and that this offer is for the best, but something stopping me from taking it right away.

Jason takes my chin in his fingers and gives me a reassuring smile, knowing that I'm conflicted on what to do. "You don't have to decide today, but promise me you will think it over."

I nod. "I promise."

Jason gives me another sweet kiss. "Good, now, go on. You don't want to be late."

Jason ushers me out of the closet and towards the bedroom door, stopping so that I can grab my blazer and backpack. I shrug on my blazer, buttoning it to perfection, then I slide my backpack on. I lace my fingers through Jason's, and he squeezes my hand. I take in a quiet, sharp breathe as I feel the cold metal of the ring dig into my skin. I press a kiss onto Jason check, leaving a bit of lipstick behind.
