Queen's pov

I got up this morning but for some reason I felt empty. As if someone had taken a part of me. Maybe I was just on my period. So I quickly went to the bathroom but when I checked myself I was clean. I shrugged my shoulders as I went downstairs to find something to eat. Downstairs were lonzo, gelo, and Melo both inspecting the television screen. It was on the news channel. "Good morning" I yelled at the three. They jumped looking at me with wild eyes. I watched them as I poured myself a cup of OJ.

"What happen, y'all look so bothered" I said sipping my OJ. "Queen..." Lonzo whispered shaking his head. "What?" I asked.

They all looked at me with angry eyes, help with a more disappointed look. "What I do?!!" I asked. Oblivious to the situation or how I was involved. "You told Brandon you wished he rotted in hell" Melo said. I nodded "okay...and!" I said putting my glass down with a loud clank. I picked it up drinking the contents.

"Queen! Have you gone mad! He said he would grant you the wish" gelo said. My heart dropped once I saw the television headline.

"Lakers Rookie Brandon Xavier Ingram Was Found Unconscious This Morning in The Rivers Of Chino Hills National Park. Professionals Say He Jumped From The Bridge. A Far Way Down. We Have Lorain at the site Right Now. Lorain?"

My heart clenched as I dropped the glass causing it to shatter in the floor. Tina and lavar came running down. "Queen what's wrong honey?" My mom said hugging me. Tears flew out my eyes. "Look at this mess" my dad said. Then he saw me crying and his gaze went to the television and sympathy plastered over his face.

I wish I could go cry to rose but she Was out of town. "Is...he dead?" I asked.

They all shrugged. "He said give you this note"

"YOU GUYS LET HIM WALK OUT THE DOOR!!" I yelled. "Well maybe if you weren't being so bitchy to him he wouldn't have walked out!" Melo yelled. I clenched my fist running upstairs. My agonizing cried were heard as I took a quick shower. I put in some nude puma slides and a matching nude dress. I didn't put makeup only blistex and then I let my hair down.

I went downstairs wiping my now puffy eyes. I looked at the note and I covered my mouth tears coming out. "Wh-what hospital?" I asked.

"Downtown" Melo whispered looking down. I walked out the house the warm weather not matching my mood.

I drove my car to the hospital Brandon was admitted in. There was his mom. "Oh my goodness I'm so sorry" I said hugging her. "Its alright dear. What matters is that you are here" she said hugging me. She smelled of oatmeal cookies and warmth.

I fingered the folded paper of the note. Please be okay Brandon.

So it was now 5 pm. My family had came. Even rose took her time off to comfort me.

A doctor came out. "Family of Brandon Ingram" she said. We all stood up. She came to us. "Hello my name is Doctor. Augustin and I will be pertaining to the injuries Brandon have faced.  Right now we have him on the way to surgery I just came to discuss the injuries with you all. So he is suffering from a mild concussion and injuries in the femur bone. His thigh bone is cracked so we will have to deal the crack and cast it up. After this we have to clear his airways. After this he may suffer from lung problems so we will provide an asthma pump. He has jumped into water the impact cashing the water to fill his lungs up and over capacity."

I took all this information in. "So when can we see him?" I asked.  She smiled. "You must be Queen?" She said. I nodded "how-to
"He is unconscious but he keeps mumbling your name."
