The hospital has an eerie feeling. Guards are posted on every entrance and exit of the building as well as he private room being occupied by Vice. 

Even Karylle feels the difference of the ambiance of the place. Meron din dalawang lalaking nakabuntot sa kanya na nagsisilbing bodyguards niya. Ever since Vice was shot lahat ng tauhan ni Vice naka high alert na. Lalo din nilang hinigpitan ang pagbabantay kay Karylle.

Sina Billy at Vhong ang nag-utos sa mga tauhan ni Vice sa higpitan pa lalo ang pagbabantay.

Vice doesn't have an issue if he gets shot, pero pag si Karylle na ang nasaktan baka makapatay pa ito. Naglalakad si K sa hallway pabalik sa kwarto ni Vice, bumali siya ng pagkain sa canteen dahil alam niyang gutom ito paggising.

Naiwan sa labas ang mga bantay at hinanda na niya ang mga pagkaing binili niya. 

Napalingon ito sa pintuan ng pumasok ang doctor. "Good day Ms. Tatlonghari." A smiling doctor entered. He has a charming smile on his face, if she was any other girl, she would have fallen in love with just his smile, his defined jaw and eyes.

Hindi naman lingid sa kaalaman ni K na iba ang ibig sabihin ng ngiting pinapakita sa kanya ng doctor. Unfortunately for him, she already loves Vice.

"Doc. Kamusta na po ang lagay niya?" Mukhang nagulat ang doctor dahil hindi nito sinuklian ang ngiting pinakita niya sa babae.

"Well the bullet was a good few inches away from the heart as well as major arteries kaya wala namang naging problema sa operasyon niya, but for the next week or two he must take it easy. Konting pressure lang and the wound will bleed. So I suggest no major activities especially ang pagbubuhat ng mabibigat."

"Salamat po Doc." 

"Rudy." Karylle gave the doctor a confused look. At mukhang nabasa ito ng doctor. "My name is Rudy." The man extended his hand to Karylle. 

Karylle shook his hand. "Karylle." She gave him a smile. Magsasalita pa sana ang doktor but he was cut of by Vice.

"Get your hands of my girl doc, kung ayaw mong ikaw ang barilin ko." Pagbabanta ni Vice. He just woke up so his voice is still hoarse, but seeing another man holding his girl's hand, made his blood boil.

Agad din namang bumitaw ang doktor at tumakbo si Karylle sa tabi nito. Hindi na nila namalayan na lumabas na ang doktor. 

"Hey love." His throat still scratchy with dryness.

Tears are pooling in her eyes threatening to fall, hindi na niya napigilan ang sarili niyang yakapin ito. Her arm made it's way around his neck, carefully avoiding his wounded shoulder. Nanigas si Vice sa kinahihigaan niya, hindi niya alam ang mararamdaman niya.
