It was hard focusing on work, having her around. And by hard, I mean really hard.
It's not that she was distracting me on purpose, I just didn't want to be here anymore.
I wanted her to have fun.
Distract her from her own sorrows and make her smile.
So after I served my last customer for the day, I quickly changed my clothes and shouldered her bag on the side of my body where the ribs weren't damaged.
She looked up to me and I gave her a light smile.
I had a plan for the night. It needed some preparation, but I already had everything I needed for that at home. And as much as I wanted to see her smile, I wanted to shut my own head down for a while too, so I was getting more and more excited for it.
I gave her a light tap on the shoulder and we finally made our way home.
After taking a shower, I looked at myself in the mirror, to somewhat inspect my still damaged face.
It was a lot better, not too swollen anymore, but I still had this damn bruise around my left eye.
I sighed quietly and quickly put on the baggy pants I had prepared before going to the bathroom.
After drying my hair, I left the small seperated room and walked towards the bed, where Jimin was laying with the phone I gave her, just to bow down to her, supporting myself with one hand next to her head.
I carefully grabbed her wrist and snitched the hair tie she had around it, pulling my bangs back with it in the next moment.
I just didn't really think about it.
I didn't know, how it happened, but I got comfortable with her pretty quick.
My legs walked me towards the fridge, taking out two cans of beer and throwing one of them towards the bed, just blindly expecting her to catch it.
When I heard the sound of something falling to the ground, I finally turned my face to the side to look at her.
And tilted my head slightly, when I saw her staring at me.
"What's wrong?", I asked her with a calm voice, when she suddenly got up and walked over to me, until she was like two inches away from me, putting her hand in my nape and slightly pulling my face closer to hers.
I widened my eyes and quickly catched up to her gaze.
"Are you not even the slightest bit aware of how you look like right now?"
I quietly looked at her, blinking in a confused manner.
"Uhm.."
"This here."
I felt her poking my chest and lowered my eyes to see what exactly she was doing.
"That's kinda like putting a plate with a huge, juicy, perfectly grilled steak in front of a starving woman and not allowing her to eat it."
