I couldn't get that dream out of my head for the next three weeks. It wasn't new to me, I had so many dreams about my parents in the last eleven years.
But something about it was odd and I couldn't get all the details together anymore.
And like that, the pictures slowly started fading away, like nothing ever happened.
I woke up to a completely sweaty and trembling Jimin right next to me, on a cloudy tuesday morning. And as I carefully placed my hand on her forehead, she opened her eyes with a few blinks.
She looked confused and not like her usual self.
I was worried.
She had been like this for the last four days and it didn't seem to get any better.
Her skin was burning under my hand and as soon, as she realized, where she was again, she buried her face on my chest and started crying.
My eyes widened, when I noticed it.
"What's wrong...?"
"I feel like crap..."
A small smile was built on my face, as I placed a soft kiss on her head.
She was clinging to the fabric of my sweater, so I wasn't really able to move and pulled her a little bit closer to me.
"I'll go out for a moment and get you some medicine..."
"No! Don't go away... I don't want to be alone."
My eyes widened again and the smile faded away slowly.
It wasn't like I couldn't understand her feelings right now.
But in her state, I was probably the one who needed to act responsibly. She felt too hot in my arms, like she was burning up completely.
Turning my face as soft as somehow possible, I pulled her face up a little and catched her teary eyes with my gaze.
"Listen... I'll be back as soon as possible, okay? But you really need some medicine, I don't want you to stay like that..."
She looked at me and slightly pouted her lower lip, so I just kissed her for a moment, until the grip on my sweater loosened up a little, and placed the next kiss on her forehead.
"I'll make it fast.", I quietly mumbled against her skin and was about to get up, when she pulled me back again and threw a gaze at me.
"Don't go away without making sure that I know, you're coming back..."
Her statement made me smirk slightly.
Hearing my own words out of her mouth, it felt funny. But I couldn't argue against them, as I said them myself.
So I leaned in to her again and gave her another warm, intense kiss and caressed her cheek for a last time, putting on my shoes in the next moment.
"I promise, I'll be back. Don't worry and get some more rest.", I told her quietly and finally got up after that to put on my jacket and a beanie.
Ready to go.
While I walked through the streets that were surrounding the shabby skyscraper I lived in, it started snowing again.
Looking at the sky, the thought came to my mind, that it would probably be a really long winter this year.
I liked it somehow, but I was freezing. And it were only mere ten minutes since I left my flat.
